Kinda sad that fog isn't working anymore, maybe some effect should be disabled/enabled? I play on Ultra settings and it's not even close to the screenshots. Everything else seems to be okay.
Thank you for your work and apologies for the inconvenience.
Regards.
Another issue is, on the overcast weather, shadows, lightning, overall graphics, etc., look out of place.
I guess it is caused by global illumination not matching the new lightning effect, something like you have to bake new global illumination to match the colors but I doubt that is possible with the current modding tools, either way good mod and wish devs take a look and create an official version.
Great work on the newest maps by the way - you're getting really good at what you do.
Great idea of having it using same weatherlist name to overwrite it - I'll do that instead thanks :)
I'm not too keen on incorporating my mod into other mods as it gets hard to maintain if that happens. I'd rather not have to worry about contacting other people and relying on them to update a mod with my work in it.
Would you mind if I tok your weather settings and weather list and placed it into the mod? That way everyone can enjoy your great work.
Update: 15 Jul @ 1:01pm
- More! Added a few more weather presets to improve the variety.
- Main menu weather has changed!
- Return of the horizon! Bugbear added new horizon tinting parameters that let me restore it while not looking garishly out of place in the mornings and evenings.
- Particle shadows! Particle shadow settings are now set up properly so that shadows don't make your particles look pitch black anymore.
- Tweaks! General tweaks have been made to things like autoexposure and reflections.
So, this changelog can't really cover the amount of tweaking and fixing I had to do to get the mod into a state i was happy with again. A lot has changed since I originally published the mod.
Because so much has changed, I need new screenshots again! If you guys take any and want to share, post them in the discussion thread I started :)
How do you feel about the accuracy of the weathers? I tried my best, but I live in Australia so I'm not really familiar with... well, the northern hemisphere in general lol
