There is a general xp you get from any kills that are made by anyone. That xp goes towards everyone on the team so you will get some low xp for its kills.

I hope WotC be a seperate mod since I have to unsub due to mods overload and I want to see it in the recently added catagory. One of my favorite mods for LW2. Wouldn't go to a raid mission or any mission with lots of enemies without one of these babies.

Reminds a bit of Natural Selection. Also inspired by Aliens of course.

Now just need a SHIV. Seems like all it needs is wheels and be the model for a class

We are aware that the sentry gun is currently incompatible with WotC, but we have A LOT of mods that needs to be updated so give us some time to get up to speed please :)

I know someone asked, and I'm sure someone answered. But at this time it appears that this mod DOES NOT FUNCTION with WOTC.

Maybe we'll see an update in the near future, as this is easily one of the most interesting item mods in the game.

Just ran into a mission where you have to rescue a resistance fighter from a lost horde. They are using a really nice gatling turret model (on top of a car) to hold off the horde (don't think it does anything but fire on a loop at the moment). Could totally see something like that being added or implemented into this mod somehow for WotC...minus the car of course. Just thought I'd give you a heads up in case you didn't see it yet.

Agh I meant war of the chosen! but yeah I am just happy to hear you guys are thinking about how it will work with war of the chosen, I can alread see myself dropping them in lost games early on to grab anything the gets behind me

Not sure there will be a LW version for this. But "should" work for War of the Chosen. And LOTS more to come. We have lots that can be released any time now. Just want to make sure it works with war of the Chosen first. So "soon" is all I'll say for now ;)

Any plans for long war? as in mechanics, like reusability, head shots for lost, ammo count? I wouldn't want them OP but the lost mechanic is almost literally what these are made for. Btw love the mod and can't wait to see what you guys do next.

This would be a perfect upgrade for the gremlin. It could be a transforming robot for hold out missions ya know in the new Chosen DLC. But in all balance I would think that when it becomes a turret the soilder stays in proximity and cannot act except for reloading and ending turret mode. This is for a gremlin tech tree which is progressed like the mec soilder's in X-com EW. What do you guys who made this mod think about that? Plus since you have to upgrade gremlin's anyways it fits.

It'd be wonderful if the turret went on Overwatch if it has action points left and can't detect any targets, which as far as I know would be source-accurate. Hell, perhaps give them the Guardian ability so a single turret can spray down entire waves of hostiles until it runs out of ammunition... or perhaps that would enter the realm of hilariously overpowered.

We modders (most of us) dont get paid to make these mods nor ask to make money off them. We put our heart into them and our free time. If we were getting paid and the community was paying for a product, THAN we would be obligated to keep the content up and in the consumers hands so-to-speak. But a lot of people in the community want more and want it NOW. They dont understand nor care what it takes to make these mods. And when the modders do add more fast enough or correct this or make the mod as the community wants, we get called names and trated like garbage. So no we are not obligated to keep anything WE created up here. There are too many people out there (not meaning you pintocat), that feel entiteld to everything and think someone has to give them it or more of it. We as modders, get quitea lot of that attitude here and some times, you just cant take it anymore. So I dont blame him for what he did.

Not to derail, but authors kind of have an obligation to leave their mods up for Steam Workshop mods -- if they remove them, Steam removes them locally even if you have subscribed, and suddenly you're left with a game that won't load a save without the mod

this great mod and very useful especialy in heaven defence missions especialy in LW2
when you have time i hope you can add two things to this mod
1 - scout drone that move on it's own without breaking concealment and alerting enemy without able to see under floors with a high mobility (like 30-40) (need drone or MEC autopsy)
2 - type of long range artillary (mortar) that shoot rockets like advent MEC from afar and can use it manualy (no overwatch) without breaking concealment of troops and have one AP and 3-6 round

Any chance you are working on more things from this franchise? Its one of my favorites.Only things missing that I can think of is the smartgun and cosmetic stuff for armors (unless someone wants to make the pulse rifle mod compatible with attachements). I'm loving the turret by the way.

My squad of Ultimate Badassss (RIP Bill Paxton) nearly looks the part.

No changes to ai has been made.. If they don't fire and just go on over watch it's because they don't have line of sight to any enemies
