I've got it working for me in TW2. I only had to edit the armor table, and it was good to go. I was wondering if you had the older version with the sword and shield instead of dual weliding? I was hoping I could get the shield meshes from it. I quite liked the way they looked, but I can't find them in the definitions.

Haha yeah I tried that one with some skeletons & messed around with the scale...they ended up with wandering pelvises :steamhappy:

Yeah so far, some of those aninmations just dont work with "human bodies" does however make some interesting splats if your pc can handle it lols :D you should see some of the wonderful mistakes I've made ;)

Hey Roger, i'm working on a unit mod (dual-wielding), i have a curiosity, did you find any other animation that work well with the vampire factions models? i tried something but revert back to the dual_hammer as it seems the only that works fine :(

Hey Roger, how did you take off the armoury requirement in this mod? Because I have my own file of this so you updating this will not do anything to my file. I have to change it manually to remove the armoury requirement. Cheers!

Works fine for me :) I've taken off the Armoury so can recruit at level 2 Cemetary, if you are still having issues, may be another mod your using

It is the same as Grave Guard, you'll need the Armoury ;)

Hello, for some reason the unit appears on the lvl 2 cementary but no on the recruit choices, im not running any overhaul, any ideas?

Thats a compatibility issue their end I'm afraid, you do have to have an Armoury as you know, even in the vanilla campaign much like the normal Grave Guard, other than that not sure :/ all depends what they are running, start pos etc

hey roger, i recently downloaded SFO (steel faith) and im able to use this unit in custom mode but when i played the campaign. I can see the portrait of this unit in cemetery level 2 but i cant recruit it? any tips? im playing the von carstein faction

Lol yeah was when the meshes were very different lol I shall get round to that worry not ;) yes it is a long process modding but well worth it in the end :)

Thank you so much! I didn't realize modding takes forever with this game lol. Roger, I noticed that the unit portait of this unit is different to the in-game unit. Well it is all the same except the helmet. In the portait, it's batshaped.

it's in lands_units_tables but if you want to change the swords you'll have to take the old one's out of the vaiant meshes ;) be careful if you are using weapons or animations from other factions, if you do you'll need another table to allow it in battles ;) the table I believe is culture_battles_animations_tables_tables

Hey Roger, I'd just like to ask you about unit animations. I gave this guys vlad's attack animation but what ended up happening is that they gained vlad's sword but also their old swords kept reappearing and dropping to the floor. do you know how to go about this? namely changing animations and changing weapons held.

Aww thank you but I'm anew modder to be fair and have made some right royal mistakes lols but all part of the the process, yes I did use Sebidee's unit creatoion template when I made this and it's been a big help :)

Also, I edited this unit to be more elite. I turned their numbers to 10 and I increased their stats higher. So far so good. I quit the game. When I started the game again, all my edited stats reverted to the original stats you gave them. How do I do it so they keep the stats I gave them? Using Pack File Manager :))

Welcome, yea i have both of the units you are talking about (fencers are also included in the vampire glory mod) and there is a third one, they are all great, but no vampire female elves ;) if you are bored sometimes, you could try some :)

@ Witcher Many thanks, this was only my third mod but am updating as I go, hopefully shouldn't be too many holes in it lol As to the other idea about the elves, there is already a mod out there called Lahmians which is a similar thing to what you're after I think and I'm sure there are some vampiric fencers out there too but I can't remember which mod they're in at the moment. I can and have been thinking about a fencing unit :) Watch this space!

Would be great if you are able to do some female elf slave warriors for the vampire counts, may be ? A hybrid unit with nearly no armour like the "forest youth"wood elf unit from the "glory mod" series if i could mod the game i would do it for my self, may be you can do it, if you like the idea? THX for your great mod, they look a bit like a undead roman legion, its good i like that !

I don't wanna sound like a whiny loser but the greatsword they use now/the helmets looks a bit unfitting. the regular sword/vampire lord swords were fine but if you used them side to side with grave guard (greatswords) it would look a bit strange. if they were able to use greatswords with one hand I would imagine their stats would be amped greatly. their helmets look a bit unfitting aswell given their size. I was never a personal fan of the wight king helmet 1. the durability/look of it and 2. the size. anyone could just grab his helmet and pull him down/kill him or just rip it from his skull and bash his cranium in. I would suggest either using a darker grave guard helmet or just the regular vampire lord helmet.
