in my opinion a dog is stronger than a fox so I think it would be more logical that the first companion you unlock is the fox and then the dog

It can be subscribed, and I can see that it's supposed to work; but the perks don't appear in my game. Could that be my fault?

Once I upgraded to the tricky fox, when I cast it nothing is summoned. Worked witth the dog but not once I put another perk point into it. thanks

help "fatal shot" will get you the code. It depends on the load order.

Carlzilla I have currently put a perk point into Fatal Shot, yet i feel it is a bit overpowered and does not match my gameplay. i wish to remove it via remove perk command, however i do not know the perk code. so now my question, what is the perk code for Fatal Shot?

For balance, I suggest removing (or changing) "Fatal Shot - At level 50 a sneak attack with an arrow will cause six times the damage," I would be able to take out Centurions with one shot; The vanilla sneak arrow perk is fine.

Yeah I'm having the same problem as fifthcromwell, no animal perks showing up, but I could still add the perk using consol commands, wich made me feel like a cheater but I really wanted a wolf follower..

i just looked at my comment stating the problem and realized i put poison gas instead of paralysis gas. hopfully i didn't confuse you. also i cant find the canine companion perk.

i should have put this in the last message but i forgot until just as i hit post comment, but it does work better if i hit the person. of course that normally kills them so it is hard to know how much better it works.

the gas appears yet it never succeeds. occasionally it causes them to attack (and add bounty if it would if i attacked).

Strange, they should release a "gas" (aoe spell) that paralyzes people within range. I'll take a look and see if I messed up someplace.

how do poison gas arrows work? if i shoot them by a person then it will just say "(the person) resisted paralyze", if anything.

@DA825: If you un-check this mod, does it start up? I've been using this mod for months, and I've never had any issues with it. It doesn't even add any custom scripts, so I can't imagine that a mod using vanilla assets would cause the game to crash for one person but not others. I'll take a look, but unless you can give me more specific information, I don't know how successful my investigation will be.

Dwarves made exploding Bolts.......news to me! Then I am sorry about the comment. After 300+ hours into Skyrim, I've not come across them. (I dont have Dawnguard). I wont ask where they appear, Im a NO SPOILERS player :)

Fatal shot is a bit nasty, but I don't find it overpowered. I may raise the marksman level requirement for it, as if you use archery as your main combat style, you can hit 50 by level 15 or so, and I really meant for it to be something that you'd get later in the game.

If the dwarves made exploding crossbow bolts, I don't see how exploding arrows are not lore friendly.

A good mod. Imo, the explosive,poison gas & paralysis gas arrows are not lore friendly. Barbed ones (that cause more damage & bleeding) & Paralysis/poison ones could be just dipped in liquid ones? Fatal shot, sounds over powered, but I dont use Archery, so I may be wrong there....Everything else is good. Thanks man :) Rated up

You'd still need the "smithing" perks to work with the material for the arrow heads/shafts, but the actual fletching skill would be on the marksman tree. Basically the only change would be cosmetic, and it would allow this to be compatible with more mods.

I have a quick question for everyone who uses this mod; would putting the fletching perks on the marksman tree bother anyone?

The reason being is that I just found out that for every perk tree I modify, it makes the mod incompatible with any other mod that tries to edit that tree. Since this is entirely a marksman mod, and it makes sense that you'd have to know how to work a bow and arrow to make arrows more so than how to blacksmith.

It's not even criticism. I think it's actually balanced for my lvl 63 char. Besides, I use something much more powerful than Chillrend.

There's one last version coming, that adds two more Hunter's pets. I updated the description sort of prematurely though, as I'm having a script issue that I need to figure out before I post it.
