the drone bay was primarily envisioned to utilize welder drones for ship repairs. i don't do industrial designs well, so i tend to use other people's drones for the job. with something as mall as that hangar requires, it's hard to build anything unique and functional anyway.

Both the Shark and Vampire drones don't fit and it would be more suitable if there was a space drone.

docking upside down in space is not an issue, and technically gives more convenient access to the cockpit anyway

carriers are designed to be flexible. pick a drone that fits.

the ventral hangar was made for Spitfires

all other hangars are made to be flexible (and technically the ventral is flexible as well), but the Lycan was specifically designed for the other hangars

Also, I read that you did not want to publish the space imp but the lycan does not work with this carrier since the connector is on the bottom of the lycan but the connectors are on the top of the hangar.

My ramming ship punches giant holes into your Wyvern before it can deal significant damage back. Had quite a few lags, but after the first hole it went back to normal.

the fighters are not aimed towards atmosphere, though i suppose you could put some in if you really wanted to. they would have to be hybrids though, as the ship cannot handle it at all.

right now i'm working on a missile cruiser.

oh I found a blueprint for a hanger that changes size and builds ships so I don't need those anymore also what are you working on now?

well, assuming you have a ship in mind, it seems all you'd have to do is load it up and measure it by stretching blocks along each axis and then reading the number the game gives you.

i really dont know. i never use mods anymore and i have no acquaintance with that particular one. usually if i want to print a ship i just raise the projection out of a floor of welders. if you want an automatic factory i'd just suggest doing that.

the others were for a space version of one of my atmospheric fighters, the Imp. However, i'm planning to make a new light space fighter rather than publish that, as the conversion from atmospheric design makes it less efficient than one designed for space originally.
