No. There aren't any nodes, either.
The events were designed with the Zombie Survival gamemode in mind. Because there are no "waves" in Sandbox, you'll have to force-trigger them with the "ent_fire" console command. Make sure sv_cheats is set to 1 before trying this.
They can be fired with "ent_fire random_(eventhere)_relay trigger". You can find a list of events, and their names, in the "Random Event List" discussion .
You mean Sandbox? Sure, you can spawn stuff, but it doesn't have any NPC nodes. This is just designed for the Zombie Survival gamemode.
This map was designed for the Zombie Survival gamemode by JetBoom. If you are referring to the random events, they are triggered at the end of every wave. To force-trigger them, type "ent_fire random_(eventhere)_relay trigger" in the console while sv_cheats is set to 1. You can find a list of these relay names in the random event list found in the discussions tab.
