Forgive me, but is this mod still relevant?
Because when I do custom battles, I see these knights in my units. But when I do a campaign, it is impossible for me to recruit them. I don't see their icon.
Am I the only one in this case?

hi guys i am new to total war War hammer (no 1) and even newer to modding i done what it said subscribed to install the mod and have the required buildings made but there are no grail wardens have i installed it wrong or something ? any info appreciated

@snotwassabi Hahah I totally see what you mean.I actually tested them vs about 6 thousand zombies, in the end they routed....I was heartbroken to see that that's why I posted this.

As for being not being 'unbreakable' i guess i could reason that even though they are possibly greatest human warriors in all the old world, they still are in fact human at the end of the day just like the peasants they protect. Still, their morale and fighting ability is so high i guess they already are effectively unbreakable as they usually fight to the very few last men.

i am afriad i have no idea how to do that, however i do believe there are some mods that change the looks of some of the lords to something similar if you havnt found one of those already.

Another modder doing the job CA should have finished , Having dismounted knights was a must espiecally in siege's and Bretonnia needed them the most due to there crap peasant infantry but could CA be arsed? of course not just like the lack of animations for gunpowder units and artillery and no reload for crossbows but nevermind im sure the geeks want Warhammer II when Warhammer I is an unfinished mess.

Your both sad to watch. We understand, please converse about things relevant to the mod, or dont comment at all.

Eitherway, this mod is great so far, i like the usage of a unit that, whilst not meant for pursuing an enemy quite like its cavalry variant, is good, (Immensely so.). at holding a line by itself, if only for a short period of time. something that i found Bretonnia was sorely lacking.

Oh great...another lore fanatic(that would be you by the way) who thinks their doing justice by complaining & crying over this mod. For the record, grail knights DID fight on foot too, (that would include guardians also) it's in the lore. And another thing, if you want to keep your idea of having a "anvil" unit, than don't download this mod & most importantly, QUIT COMPLAINING & AND MAKING STUPID COMMENTS! :steamfacepalm:

What was wrong with Grail Guardians as an anvil? There are few units better suited to that role: you can't break their formation (they're mounted and super heavy), they don't fatigue, they're immune to psychology, tons of armour and mdef on top of 20% phys resist, loads of HP (stick them in Fay's army and it can get even more bonkers w/ 20% missile resist and 85!! mdef). About the only thing they can't facetank are dragon ogres, especially if you throw a Life Damsel in there.

Not knocking you, I just don't get it lol. My favourite thing about Bretonnia is that you *can* do hammer and anvil, but with units that have 75+ speed!

@Pump-Action Pimp I actually think this would be ideal as well, having them small, tanky and working to support the bulk of the other units is probably the way to go and it's likely what this unit will look like in time. ATM I am still trying to pinpoint a sweet spot for their stats and deciding if they need a recruitment cap.

I like your fatigue buff idea too, could work really nicely
