The character's equipment UI layout is inconsistent, and it needs to be replaced with the vanilla file "characterpanel_frames.png".

if you are having problems with ui bug, try putting the mod at the VERY TOP of the mod list in game

I added this mod to BR using Macky's guide below and it worked! The character sheet UI is a bit messed up now so I just need to know how to put the UI back the way it was.

Quirks got moved around and the additional info tab for heroes disappeared

It works. Load it above inventory expansion and other UI altering mods.

Why doesnt it work ?

Apparently the layout's position coordinates are not correctly set, which is causing an UI issue. The panels positions don't match the trinkets position nor the highlights.

3 Trinkets seems like the magic number. Even with some latter mods adding things like 4 trinkets + 7 Quirks, I still find myself coming back to this one from time to time.

Mod works but I have concern it's bugging out part of the UI somehow (I don't have any other mods that effect the UI so this is the only culprit I see)

I would like to know if is possible a version of this that reduces all trikets effects by 1/3, making it balanced for players that want more possibilities without reducing the challange. In particular to the end game, when you are sitting in a hundred of trinkets you would like to use, but your heroes simply don't have space to bring them.

I am so bored of having to have an accuracy trinket at levels 5 and 6 and effectively being forced to only have one "real" trinket choice per character, so this is a welcome addition to the game for me. Thank you!

This makes the trinket system a lot nicer. Definitely a good idea for when you add mods with more enemies or that add trinkets, so you can actually use them.

After installing, pg layout has been f*cked. I can't see any skill or stats. How can i fix it? I love this mod!

This mod is perfect and adds a very fun layer to the game, regardless how else (or if at all) you mod it in other ways.

I would recommend finishing the game without mods first to get the true experience but once you did that and want to dive into the modded realm I think the "3 trinkets" addition is an immediate a must-have. It opens up so many more possibilities and builds for all your champions while still keeping the game challenging and fun. I highly recommend it.

So like, hypothetically, if one were to accidentally uninstall the mod, with some trinkets in the third slot... Would they be Thanos snapped forever? Or is there a possible way of regaining these said hypothetical trinkets... asking for a friend

@Hoxi thy to check your mod loadorder. Maybe there's something like bigger inventory, or cheaper inventory, that overwrites some files from this mod.
PS Yep, DD has really very strange file structore and mods can only overwrite file, that has alot of.
PPS Or you can try to search for this mod's forlder, then manually check for files from another mods that can conflict, and change them manually. You need that files that can be opened with notepad, they are text files without .txt

If you are like me and use to drag-and-drop mod files instead of use the mod manager system, remember to edit "inventory/base.inventory.system_configs.darkest" and set the value "hero_equiped_trinkets" to 3

This seems bugged with the Butchers circus DLC. I can add a third trinket online. I haven't done so, but still. I hope Red Hook balances this or has already disabled it

directly causes a crash on mac whenever you open a character panel.

Hey guys and author, does this mod increase the spawn rate of trinkets? Its getting really annoying. I never asked for it nor was it in the description.

So not quite sure what happened, but it seems even with this mod enables I wasn't able to equip 3 trinkets until I changed the values in base.inventory.system_configs.darkest in the inventory folder which retained 2 as its cap. Works now though.

just checked and its fixed now, thank you, also really enjoying this mod :)

I'm having the same issue as jjhonson92.

Have problem with crush after new dlc.

@jjohnson92, 2 hours ago was added new dlc and this mod incorrect working now. Just wait for update. In next days it will be, i think.

I'm having an issue with this mod where its inverting the switch outfit icon numbers so they're outside the boarder, Its the first mod in my load order and it only goes away when I disable this mod, any ideas why this is happening?

Planty, try to scroll down to ~5-6+ pages, there are some info from me about how some settings files works in DD, so that you can check and modify to make both mods work good.

Mod is working great, just put it on top of your mod list

The bug appear for me when I charge it after the mod "7 Lockable quircks"
