I presume there is a bug with Commander's Choice (as is occurring in WotC) - Choosing a new class for a character wipes their XCOM-extra abilities. Is anyone else getting this? Can it be reverted/fixed?

How can I see the stats of rookies I want to buy beforehand? I buy rookies and they turn out to be terrible. I remember there used to be a mod for this, but I can't seem to find it anymore.

i was able to isolate what was the problem with "absolutely critical" not working.
The responsible for this bug is long war 2 for some reason, but i dont know if my edited ini's are responsible or not.

I edited damage values, grenades range, enemy's aim and thats it
so im not seeing the connection, im going to try to run with original LW2 files. brb

@EladDv: Thanks. You must be right. I figured out right now (a little late btw.), that the multiplier is only adjustable when Expensive Talent is chosen. I think the higher the multiplier, the more expensive a worthfull soldier. Yes, i think thats it. Thank you. :)

Thanks for the mod. Please note the Red Fog option will bug the UFO Defense Mission, rendering all reinforcements unusable. Had to turn it off for that mission.

@Abel1717: It means that "All Enemies" will have Red Fog applied to them. Absolutely Critical, when set to "All enemies" means that any flanking shots taken by enemies will crit. "All Units" makes these global, while "XCOM Only" means that it will only apply to XCOM. I personally prefer to have any options I've turn on be global, as it feels more balanced that way, for my playstyle.

Ok, if I want the Red Fog to weaken the enemy only, do I set it to "All enemies?" Or, does it mean that all the enemies have the ability to weaken the target (i.e., my guys)?
In other words, I want the edge to be on my guy's side only since we are outnumbered.
It is not clear to me when I select a group if it refers to the one with the ability or the one at the receiving end.
Same question goes for Absolutly Critical.

@macelharen: I suggest just ditching LW Toolbox. Use the Stand-alone Options mod(Gives configurable options for the LWPP if that's installed), this mod, and Robojumper's Squad Select. They're much, much more compatible with other mods.

Is it possible, since i use Longwar Toolbox, to get a standalone mod for the "expensive talent" (seeing as how it's the only real way of filtering out duds)...i'm hoping to also be able to tweak the cost weights (i prize mobility over health over aim over will)

can anyone tell me how to enable reg fog for all units via the ini file, I'm having trouble with it.
