The celatids are a nice shout-out to older games, and they work well in XCOM 2.

I appreciate the work put into this and they are nasty yet appropriate difficulty. My gripe is that they're too common, almost the majority of units seem to be these. I'd say at least two pods will be them every mission.

Me too lol ;) We are haveing some issues with this one becaus eof how a few of the Abilities had to be added in the Vanilla version. With the Wxpansion, a lot of the abilities that are added through Perk Packages just dont want to work as they did in Vanilla. So its taking some time to get everything right.

This will get updated but it will take some time. Lots of code has to be rewritten because Firaxis changed so much in the base visualization code for most abilities. Pulling my hair out trying to rework some of these mods lol.

This is the one mod I have been dying to try out. Just waiting for it to get updated to WOTC. Oh, any chance of allowing this the Celatid to be used as an ally? Like through the playable aliens mod? I know the turret can be used, but I'd love a playable Celatid.

oh im going to clone what i have but even then, i still have to go in and rework a lot of files and code in the new clones to make them work with WOTC. On that not, i only have one last vanilla mod i want to launch and finish the last updates for the Celatid Vanilla mod and ill not be doing any more vanilla mod or updates to current mods. Will be all WOTC centered after this

Clone what you have, and then update the cloned mod for WotC then? From a layman's view, the only downside seems to be you would effectively double your workload if keep both versions of all the mods updated.

it would be SOOOOO much easier for me to just update all my current mods to work with WOTC. But if i do that they will no longer work for the vanilla game and mess up everyones current games.

Well a plus for me is I probably won't be able to touch it till Next Friday. And I'm already seeing mods for WotC trickling in. Hopefully the turn around is fairly quick to do, and I'll have some nice stuff to play with when I get the chance.

will be testing it here shortly but after looking in the new game files, they have changed the way spawn weights and force levels and mission schedules work... so im going to say ill more than likely need to make new versions of all these mods for WOTC. I can just update these existing mods but then anyone that wants to still use them for vanilla XCom will not be able to and if i updated these mods, it would break all current vanilla games using them. 90% of the mods on the workshop will need to be updated or new versions made for WOTC.

Didn't the necromancer mod figure out a way for their zombies not to be counted as dead soldiers?

they can show up as terror units as well yes. But are not estricted to any one mission type. The turret design will only be used as an ally unit sorry.
