I can see only 6 soldier slot and I can use the mouse wheel select other slots.
Why i can't see at once the eight slots as the image above promises that?

А выявить конфликтующий мод можно поочередно отключая остальные моды и проверяя работоспособность.

A great 'big picture' mod that addresses some serious UI issues (too many games force you to look for info through drinking straws and assume that everyone has old 600x480 displays!)

If Robojumper or any other accomplished modder reads this, a request: can we please have a 'real' armory? On-base real soldiers do not sleep with their weapons/body armour/kit or take these into the infirmary. All equipment should be checked into the armory on return to Avenger for re-issue as required (the current Make Weapons/Armor/Mods Aavailable are all far too blunt, even after some modders' efforts). If anyone is interested I have a full logic flow for a mod that would replace frustrating hours of search-and-click with a slick mechanism.

Recently got predator armor, and noticed that the info screens don't show the armor points, just the health points. Any way the armor points can be added as well?

Yeah, looks like that works! I'll actually play the game in afternoon and if it works, I'll post a complete guide as discussion on original mod in case someone else needs it.

Hmmm... can you try deleting "STEAM_DIR\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\674832831\Content\CIN_PreMission.umap"? I think that one might be interfering.

Also, just to be clear, do not use the LW2 version of this mod for a vanilla game, only use the base version.

Also, before I had avenger defense - the ui appeared unless I cancelled cinematic too quick. Camera positioniong was still wrong though.

The setup was: squad select loaded before LW toolbox, both UISquadSelect and UIPersonnel_SquadSelect override commented out

If I only have the Long War Leader Pack installed do I need to use this version, or the non-LW2 version? Right now I'm getting a conflict between Long War Leader Pack and the non-LW2 Squad Select mod.

sobek what perspective? whatca mean? the perspective has always remained the Same in every Mission deployment screen. Some have the units scroll horizontially. one shrinks them too fit more on screen however it makes it more difficult to see depending on some Video ratios if its 16:9 then the horizontial strech isnt a big deal but anyway you get it right. the Perspective of the Camera or viewer is fixed Isometrec looking at the soldier / Squad Select in front of the jumpship / VTOL / Mission deployment ship "avenger?" grr idont remember. whatever.

Hope thats close if not specify a little better to your request

BTW, thank you for this excellent mod. it drove me crazing tracking this stuff down. I really wish Steam had an easy way to donate to the modders. You guys put out some great stuff.

Yep this has saved me time. I thank you... Its very nice this happens to be close to top of thread (which is long), Simple enough to follow even for someone who isnt Mod authering (dosn't require notepad) its just procedural. and makes a great difference in the execution. Please note that you will need the original version installed FIRST before subscribing to this. If you try to subscribe to both at the same time it won't work, if you subscribe to this and rely on the dependency popup to install the original one too - it won't work. You will only see the original one.

Additionally you will need to launch the game in order to download the mod, through Steam. If you do it manually or use the Alternate XCOM2ModLauncher - it won't work.

So go into Steam and make yourself a desktop shortcut. Go into the workshop and unsub from both. Launch the game by clicking on the shortcut. Close it.

Then sub to the original mod. Launch the game again. Close it.

Sub to this one. Launch the game. Now you should see both mods available in the list. It should work now.

Hope this saves someone some time.

Okay, I just read in the comments of the ammo pocket mod that you are going to make your own version which probably will be fully compatible with Squad Select, so I'll just wait for this!
Could you please leave a short note here when it is available, so I'm not going to miss it? :)

In XComGameData, you can add these lines in the section [XComGame.X2AbilityTemplateManager]:

+AbilityUnlocksAmmoPocket="AbilityName"
+AbilityUnlocksAmmoPocket="SecondAbilityName"

Any unit with any of the specified abilities gains an ammo pocket.

Do you think it would be possible to show the ammo-slot that is added to all units by the mod I've linked before? I think it is utilizing this base game feature...
In vanilla the slot is shown in the squad select, but with your mod it's only available in the loadout submenu.

The Shadow Ops Infantry class has a dedicated ammo slot. This is a base game feature.
