well they did add the fluorescent light ( bottom light in the screen shots)

The Modding Guidelines say "If you would like to include existing content from Scrap Mechanic in your mods, for example by tweaking existing parts or features we’ve created, then we are happy for you to do so. However, you can’t copy or share the game itself. If someone wants to use your mod, they will need to own a copy of Scrap Mechanic themselves." (http://scrapmechanic.com/modding-guidelines)

Oh, I see the difference.

I'm having issues with the mod tool also.
Some mods won't load while others can.

@TechnologicNick The mods are different in the way the lights paint and this one got corrupted in my mod tool i can't update it

If you add this piece of json to the lights they will act like a normal spotlight!
You will need to change the values to let the lamps look natural.
The textures/models won't change when you toggle the lights.
