i am having a problem when i load my game and near everything is just checkerd i have uninstalled and reinstalled the game a few times and it is still bot fixing it.

I'm wondering if I've missed something here but a big portion of this mod seems.. non functional? Melee combat is absolutely terrible in vanilla and here it seems you can only do individual melee orders at a time (so 1 unit will attack only 1 unit even if you have the whole squad selected), on top of that, melee orders are actually bugged if issued during reloading, which is most of the time...

i hope to see more future guns add and update like from late 1890s

Totally understandable, GOH is still updating frequently and i'm sure modding for it can be time consuming and porting everything over isn't easy. Wish you the best in real life with work and things so that this can go smoothly as well!

The work is going well, but I can't say the time frame... I'm busier in the summer, I need to work in real life, so I'm guessing winter 2025-26-spring\early summer 2026. I don't want to name anything exact about the release time now, so as not to give players hope in advance, but in general, in terms of quantity and quality, the first version will be somewhere around one year. Maybe earlier, if I partially postpone something until the update's post-release.

@Rick that's crazy! I can't imagine the technical problems that poses and effort it takes, many kudos to you. This was one of my favorite mods for MOW and I can't wait to see it in the new engine! Any idea on when an early/lite version will be ready?

@JaffaTB Yes, I found it, I'll post a fix in the next few hours. The problem is with the updated text localization, apparently they didn't like some sign. Thanks for pointing out the error, even though this is the final mission and its end, it's still a critical error.

Just completed it again with same result, the last line in the log reports a missing file, would this cause the CTD?

Just finished the zulu one and we completed the second part and the game crashed to desktop just after the music started playing, we didn't get to check out the scores at the end, was it just a random bug or a known issue? first time i've ever had a CTD on this game

This is not planned. Combining large mods is quite a long task, I do not have time for it.

It would be super cool if this mod was compatible with mods like GAW in the editor

I found a way, its in the Editor only.. its under support in F2

Im not sure its the best way to make a line, but what i have done (in the editor) is making them sit behind cover, so that i get them in the wanted position ( when i do it i have one that stands and one that sits behing cover. Then i copy that unit and make a line, ofc having them on movement hold. Thing is when i click finish battle i belive the line gets fucked and they teleport back to the position the guy i was copying was.. hope this was understandable.

I have 2.5k units to rework, the same number of stuff, weapons, edits, work with the interface, with code. I don't think in the near future. Perhaps there will be a closed version for testing.

How long do you suspect it will take to port this mod to GOH?

No, the mod is not tied to any DLC.
The Airborne DLC requires bots to be available in multiplayer

At first, the content will be adapted from the existing one. Then I will look. I am creating a skin system that will allow for variability and simpler units, so we will look at the mod's post-release later.

Support for this version has ended.
Now the mod port to GoH has started, and if I am satisfied with the result, the mod will be released there with subsequent support.
The trial port is done with remodeling, so it will take a lot of time.

Also, if the tests show good results, new skins will be added to the assault squad 2 version.

Could there be regular skirmish missions?

This mod is really heavy. Is there a smaller version I can run without my game crashing?
