And it takes sooo long time to make buildings that looks nice.
I thought of taking some of the stock game buildings that looks nice - which obviously have both resident and store in the same building and then splitting them up. This way, more buildings can be made fairly quick.

its pretty sad that you are the nly one who makes stuff like this. much more asset creators should jump on this train making stuff like this. it just feels way more realistic.

What kind of variations are you thinking about? I will add one or more stores at some point.
I'm also working on another building with quite a different look. It will also include a 90° corner resident & store building.
btw whats the difference to the other residential building?
The idea is to use a resident building with either a commercial or office building below. All the buildings are made by 1 by 4s, the resident buildings are aligned to the left, commercial and office buildings are aligned to the right.
So to complete a 4 by 4 (16 x 16m) building, you need to place a resident building along with one of the other buildings.
