@"Just a dude" - just quick tested converting a stock building to resident & commercial. Works great. But it's still a "lot" of work per building - 1-2 hours. Still managable though.

The downside is that the buildings have to be created as RICO monuments only, then corrected by the RICO script, otherwise they'll pop up everywhere by the game itself.

And it takes sooo long time to make buildings that looks nice.
I thought of taking some of the stock game buildings that looks nice - which obviously have both resident and store in the same building and then splitting them up. This way, more buildings can be made fairly quick.

maybe different colors or sizes so that it doesnt look all the same.

it nice to hear that you are working on another building, cant wait to see it!

its pretty sad that you are the nly one who makes stuff like this. much more asset creators should jump on this train making stuff like this. it just feels way more realistic.

keep up the great work.

The only difference between the two resident buildings, are the lights at night. It's just to create some variations.

What kind of variations are you thinking about? I will add one or more stores at some point.
I'm also working on another building with quite a different look. It will also include a 90° corner resident & store building.

i realy love this idea but i would like to see more variation.

btw whats the difference to the other residential building?

Nice Idea will try it out

Watch the video! Yes, it's floating.

The idea is to use a resident building with either a commercial or office building below. All the buildings are made by 1 by 4s, the resident buildings are aligned to the left, commercial and office buildings are aligned to the right.
So to complete a 4 by 4 (16 x 16m) building, you need to place a resident building along with one of the other buildings.

Is it just the angle or is the building floating in the first screenshot? Neat build tho!
