Otherwise giving the hero two spells like Curse of the Midnight Wind and Wind Blast should work with her as well if she had a balanced melee fighter stats.
The truth is I encountered unexpected issues and complicated data tables when I tried to transfer the Cryomancer from paper to reality. It is a pain to mod this game, especially when it comes to creating custom abilities and powers like ice magic, so eventually I gave up and returned to simpler mods and ideas :(

- The units are now called Elf Adventurer and Elf Adventurer (female) instead of just "Elf"
- Leadership increased by +5
- Fast Shooter ability fixed to show Reload Skill +30, which is far better than the previous +400%
- Now the units are available in the campaign to the Dwarfs (tavern level 2) and the Wood Elves (major outpost). I tried to make them so only Clan Angrund can recruit them, but couldn't achieve it. It only works in Custom Battles.
Can't wait to get hands on my long-dreamt Cryomancer... Would it be possible to add the hero to Wood Elves and other factions as well, except for disallowing the AI to recruit her?
Also, wouldn't mind if you make her look like some black and blue MK ninja, though I'm prepared to try and work on the textures myself if you've decided on a more lore-friendly appearance.
I can give some spells to my heroes, yes. Also the upcoming abilities like Frostbite could be used on a Cryomancer.
I've had a look on the spell lores and the only promising one seems to be lore of heavens with wind blast and curse of the midnight wind (or smth) for instance. Can your potential adventurers use spells such as these or are they restricted to lords/heroes?
I re-subbed to base improvement but for some reason it shows a yellow triangle on it like there is some problem, but still the game launches with it and my mod only.
So, my guess is you have a mod conflict with other mods or you need to delete and re-sub to the mods or verify the game's cache. Can't think of any other solution right now :/
I downloaded dry's welf reskin and base improvement.pack and none of them conflicts with my mod. All my textures and models are uniquely named and only used by my units.
However, I am 99,9% sure that these 2 mods are not compatible with each other. They both reskin the Wood Elf faction and they overwrite the vanilla files, so they are bound to be incompatible.
TL;DR Use either Dry's Reskin or base improvement. Not both together. Each of them is compatible with my mod.
Getting into this game's modding seems to require an awful investment of time in order to grasp its mechanics, unfortunately...
