What they are trying to say is:
1. Hold the contextual menu button (default "c")
2. Your mouse cursor should be usable now. Use it to right click on the BMW.
3. A drop down menu will appear. There should be the option to change the skin as well as other things.

I found some clean recordings of each of the sounds, all you really have to do is find some YouTube to MP3 conversion website and download the thing and then separate the sounds in Audacity or something.
