Strategos might be broken, it's not working for me at least. The only mod that fucks with movement speed I have is Civilizations Expanded

I think could still work with Luke ✞ Jesus Saves ✞ policy mods(but that may vary since he not playing much or updating i last read) like in my older collections , last time around December 2021 used LC-VI thou not currently playing Civ 6 and taking break from it.:Diplomat:

I have many collections for the game i do know that Extended Policy Cards(bigger incorporated) cannot be used with Angryr's Ancient Policies( how ever other policy cards may work in matter of test & trail ).

Urban planning to me is always a must have with this mod. Everything else seems pretty balanced. Not sure if I would reduce the district bonuses or increase the negative gold amount, but either could make it a bit more balanced. I'm going to mod it to be a 25% bonus to districts instead of 50% and see if that makes it a bit less powerful.

Hey @Angryr, I think this mod is having some issues loading? I checked my mod and database logs and came across this in my database log:

[2565416.329] [Gameplay] ERROR: table RequirementArguments has no column named ModifierId

In my modding log, it points me to [2565416.329] Warning: UpdateDatabase - Error Loading SQL., which is surrounded by your ancient policies. Any ideas?

Works for me 37-50 mods(GS), probly would work with up to 70-100( not any more u if u have dlcs expansions). Base game can mostly likey do more mods with this mod.:Diplomat:

"zh_Hans_CN" I believe. The only time I met your situation is that I open the game with English and use a mod with only Chinese language.Most of mods that have other language translation has another text file to put all translation in. Maybe you can put translation in a different xml file to see how it works. By the way, modbuddy is still in R&F version I think. It won't help you a lot:steamsad:

Hmmm after I save the file all of the chinese characters turn into question marks. Not really sure how to fix that since all "Get additional languages" links inside modbuddy are dead links.

1) All land units would be more accurately "All land military units".
2) Would this be "zh_Hans_CN" or "zh_Hant_HK" or something else? Not sure what the language key is.

The words before ' : ' are the names of the policies. Those after ' : ' are the descriptions.
Hope that these translation works. Please double check the Icons' names.

One question: for Strategos, does "all land units" contains settlers and workers and traders?

The mod does work when I play with English. But for Chinese, the texts are still in vanilla version. I read the those XXXX_Text.sql and I find that the mod just update text in en_US. I hope you can add several extra lines of code to update text in other languages. You don't have to worried about translation. Just simply update English Text to all other languages (I believe most of the players know some basic English).

@sullenskulls I'll look into it when I get the chance. I think I had some versioning issues between the 2nd to last update and the recent update for GS. So it wouldn't surprise me if mine is wrong. Thanks for letting me know.

Not sure if its a bug or some compatibility issue I have, but with the policy discipline, on the description it states 'Double support bonus and +25% experience gain', instead of how you show it here. Also, with using better civilopedia mod, it shows what the actual modifiers are, and these seem to be :- +5 combat strength against barbarians, and double support bonus.
As I said, not sure if this is a problem on my end, or an unexpected issue with GS update, but figured I would post it here.

Urban planning isn't very nice to early game when you need production and you have to suffer -1 gold in all cities. You also don't have enough districts to benefit from the +50% adjecency bonus. I agree with Banazir864's suggestion to give -1 gold per district, because its meant to be an ealy game civic that you replace later.

I would use this if not for the -5 unit healing.
All the rest just seem like a boost, but that one is weirdly nerfed?

Oh, wow, yeah I had no idea. I'm not sure how to fix it aside from making it not affect ships though since I'm only capable of doing a relative modifier. Thanks for letting me know, I'll fix it as soon as I have time to do so.

The Conscription policy makes my ships to loose health when they are idling outside of my territory. It is probably because of the -5 Unit Healing. Could you fix that please? Otherwise i love the mod, it really changes my game !

It's still a lot weaker before you start getting districts, which seems odd for one of your starting cards. You mention commercial hubs, but they don't come online until the classical age. Given how much weaker it is until you get districts, this version would really be better later on when you actually have some (it looks bizzare offering a penalty together with a bonus that won't help you for quite a while). If you're really married to this version, I'd recommend at least moving it later in the civics tree (so it's unlocked when you might actually have districts to use it with), and swapping something else to the starting position: maybe move this to State Workforce, Corvee to Craftsmanship, and Ilkum to Code of Laws, since you get builders long before you get districts and your change basically makes Urban Planning into a district-centered policy (especially if you're not beelining districts, e.g., because you're playing wide and getting settlers).

1 Production is worth about 4 gold. 1 Faith is worthless once you get your pantheon. So then your two starter cards become a choice of +1 gold vs +1 Production and -1 Gold per city. Which means Urban planning is still a better choice if you don't have your pantheon yet. Plus the adjacency bonus (however minor) is still a reason to pick it.+50% adjacency for a river commercial hub is +1 gold from the card balancing it out (also, I believe Korea's +4 Science on their campus is considered adjacency so the card is still very OP on that giving +6 for Korea)

Urban Planning is actually a nerf until you get some districts up, which is a good ways into its lifespan if you're going wide (which is where the vanilla version shines). Maybe make it -1 Gold per specialty district? If it's going to be one of your two starting policies, it needs to be a viable option from the start, not just after you get districts.
