I want to help you out. English doesn't seem to be your first language and making immersive dialogue strings seems to be an afterthought with your class mods. In my eyes this is nothing if not misfortunate as these already good classes would only be made greater with varying and immersive dialogue strings.
I want to help you out. If you'll let me, I'll gladly write out all the dialogue strings you could possibly need to make your characters really have that spit and polish that they're lacking.
Using the Armor Tag might be interesting. Will need some more test on it.
I saw that idea of dummy type in a reddit post too. Good potential, but have to think about it. Fear it might break the game too (not sure if can do a hero summon, assume so)
Yeah, I tried it extra turn, but its kinda buggy. I think it not only give yourself free action, but it only set the initiative to a number, but not add (unless there are some other syntx to use). So a 0 is set to a 1 (for extra action) but 1 is also set to a 1. that is why didn't use it at the end.
Camping ability that gives effect based on Armor type (light or heavy). Something like +dodge for light armor and +prot for heavy.
A hero ability that summons a "dummy" enemy. That dummy blocks position (similar to barricades at prophet). Can also be attacked to get some bonuses like ACC and SPD (i think it's possible to make via riposte and buff attacker/his party). Or maybe for bonus loot. Or this summon would be attacking other monsters.
An ability that gives a turn to an ally. But looks like you have been already experimenting with it (.initiative_change in commissar code).
I seen the code to the position buff (Rank), but its mostly used by trinknets, and I don't think it will show up well in game as askill. Usually using limits to where you can use the skill is a workaround.
Are you planning on adding some of new features to your classes? Like heal over time, cure Horror, interactions with Bloodsuckers and CCursed heroes.
For example, courtesan could have Horror curing ability, Vamp could have some bonuses if she is CCursed, etc
I was also wondering, is it possible to make that buff/debuff the position (not the hero/monster), similar to Vvulf's bomb or Prophet's Stonefall?
