Planet seems to be working great!

height maps are fine and NPC grids and drones spawn with ease

clouds and ambiance work fine and it doesn't seem to crash the game anymore!

Will this planet be fixed? This planet has the unfortunate "Dark sky" glitch where the atmosphere is darker on the surface than its supposed to be. I think its something with the atmosphere's lighting?

having trouble getting the clouds to work and i followed the directions above. I have tried leaving the folder with lv223 clouds in it and i took the out and pasted them into the sky folder. Not sure if this mod is dead or not

Yes I'm aware that without the clouds, it looks awful. The planets still need some updates to get them to the best appearance. Waiting for my new video card to continue updating.

also lil update, reinstalling the custom clouds fixed it, kinda'ish
lighting still seems wonky, not to mention what it looks without the clouds, lol

KEEN changed a few things regarding atmosphere as you are prbbly aware
looks pretty weird now

recon that applies for a lot of modded planets

a) Updated the code to the new version

Nothing much really just made it work for the latest version of the game.
Everything should work correctly. I've spawned this without issues ( pink textures, etc. )

PS: might be adding wolves and spiders so you can have some sort of threat if you like.

I know I promised a planet release, but as I was about to release it, I realized that there were a few things that could be improved, so I'm working on them currently.
Rest assured that the planet will be released very very very soon. :D

Okay, so there's a giant ring of 'no clouds' around the middle of the planet ant it's making it look like starkiller base... How do I fix that?

Yes, for some reason it is not possible to download them through the workshop downloader anymore. So what you need to do is follow @MOOKIE1590's advice:

a) Go to your mods folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850

b) Look for the folder with the same number as the mod's number, ex: 909842549

c) Inside that folder look for the Textures folder, where within you can find the Clouds folder: "LV223Clouds"

d) Copy "LV223Clouds" folder to your Space Engineer's clouds folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SpaceEngineers\Content\Textures\Models\Environment\Sky\

e) Now start your game and clouds should work for the planet.

Yeah., that would be awesome. They made it a bit more cumbersome to find your mods and fix them. a positve is faster laoding and the client and server loads mod from the save location. Instead of having mods in both your server and client.

Yeah. they changed it to your normal worshop mod location. No longer in the game itself. For me, I have the server and game loaded onto my boot ssd and not my actuel game drive witch is another hard drive z: This is where it's located for my setup

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850

But find your workshop, then its under "244850. that is where steam stores the mods. Then just search in the searcvh bar your mod id.

If you still can't find it, search your whole computer for 244850. that's how I found mine. I do have 3hdds.

I don't lke the changes, I like it before. But I will say it loads way faster.

And yes, I unpacked your mod and found the clouds. I will put them where you say. Thanks.

I might need to update the instructions. The clouds come within the subscribed planet. The only thing that ATM i'm not sure where to find the subscribed stuff since it has changed.
Anyway, if you were to find those files, then you just need to unzip the clouds folder to :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SpaceEngineers\Content\Textures\Models\Environment\Sky\

Can I just unpack the mod? Also, since the recent change to how modding works with steam, they changed the location. Does everything still go where you listed?

It's a great planet to build your base on, the only thing you need to keep in mind is that pictures are not up to date so atmosphere coloring might seem different in game.
Also need to install the clouds manually, but it's worth it.

Also I noticed that planet rendering has changed quite a bit, so some colors now look different than they are supposed to.
I will be updating these, but once the game reaches a stage were there won't be more changes to planet rendering or anything related to them.
It will take some time to bring all planets up to date. I'll do my best to make this happen soon.

Ok just checked it out, and Keen hasn't done anything with this feature yet. So we'll have to wait for them to make cloud modding fully available so one doesn't have to tinker around.

Hi there blok, not really sure. If I remember correctly cloud modding hasn't been fully enabled, an for that reason one has to install the clouds by copying a folder.
