The one infection mod I'm looking for and it doesn't even exist anymore

Oh well, this mod is still super cool!

tHE WEREWOLVES ARE SO VERY RARE it misses the point of the mod to be infected naturally instead of very low , low would have been more balanced to meet goal mod and satisfy player without havung werewoldf on every corner
SkaarSmashKikou 19 Aug, 2017 @ 8:45pm
Do this day, it still one of my favourite mod.

It add a touch of unpredictable to the game, especially when coupled with the mod that allow werebears to spawn in the mainland......Yeah, I'm a rather crazy person :P

Even if I am never view one of them (notably due to their low percentage of spawn, and the generally low-leveld characters), it still one of my classic.

Thanks for it.
Rick O'Shay 17 Sep, 2016 @ 2:19pm
Yeah, since were-bears occur naturally in solsteim, it isn't fair that werewolves don't do the same in Skyrim.

Are they non-hostile when you are in were-wolf form, like how the wolves leave you alone?

> Gets to bear cave
>> SURPRISE THERE'S A WEREWOLF IN THERE!!!

I never was so careful to sneak in my entire life. XD Great surprise :D
zyrrathedragon 10 Dec, 2015 @ 3:01pm
I finally had an encounter and it was 5 of them at the same time XD I like it, makes it seem like they were hunting in a pack. Well done
Melletch 21 Nov, 2015 @ 12:36am
Found one! Thanks!

!(gerMAN ^wolf)! 15 Jul, 2015 @ 11:28pm
very low span rate few months latter still cant find 1 lol but great mod
Serith  [author] 15 Jul, 2015 @ 9:52pm
@Goon: This was made Pre-Dawnguard. They didn't occur randomly prior to that. In addition they still technically occur only as events, not as general enemies. This specifically adds them in the levelled enemy list as natural forest predators, but at a low spawn rate.
Gram 15 Jul, 2015 @ 3:32pm
Didn't they happen randomly before? Or just Sinding?
!(gerMAN ^wolf)! 1 May, 2015 @ 10:05pm
subed, time 2 get them off my land in falkreath manor:AOEHouse:
TITANOSAUR 22 Apr, 2015 @ 9:24pm
Awesome mod! I am actually trying to get infected but the damn Guards and NPCs kill the Gibbering Loonatic before they transform or the Silver Hand keeps killing the wearwolves before I can even get a chance to fight them. either way a very good mod. I really prefer not to do the companions quest just to get wearwolves or be infected.
Serith  [author] 22 Apr, 2015 @ 7:08pm
@titanosaur: Yes. I personally use that mod.
TITANOSAUR 22 Apr, 2015 @ 3:41am
will this mod work with Tales of Lycanthropy?
BARTOWEL BOY 14 Feb, 2015 @ 2:45pm
found a werewolve in intro cave where bear usually is .......was really scary
Yubo 23 Nov, 2014 @ 4:48pm
how do i increase spawn rate
Serith  [author] 27 Sep, 2014 @ 6:27am
@the smile: Essentially, every time there could be a "forest predator" (ie, wolves, skeevers, bears) there is a 1-2% chance a werewolf will spawn.

Also, if you have dawnguard, there specifically an event that spawns 2 werewolves, which is the most likely cause of that.
The Smile 25 Sep, 2014 @ 5:45pm
Now you say that werewolfs are extremely rare, but the first thing that happened is I walk out of Riften and see two of them fighting guards
TellyTubs 23 Sep, 2014 @ 1:55pm
Very Nice! Just what i was looking for. Thx!
Gentleman-Velociraptors 21 Sep, 2014 @ 12:56pm
Well, I'll give this mod a spin and see how I like it.
Serith  [author] 21 Sep, 2014 @ 12:55pm
Shouldn't, Unless it is terribly unoptimized and fiddles with other spawning groups. Even if it did, as I said, Run this mod at the end, it will only affect this spawn rate and nothing else. the dragons would still spawn just fine, and werewolves will pop up on occasion as well.

Though honestly, it shouldn't be necessary, the increased dragon spawn rate is likely by *adding* spawns, not modifying them.
Gentleman-Velociraptors 21 Sep, 2014 @ 12:52pm
I have a mod that increases the spawn rate of dragons, would that be a conflict?
Serith  [author] 21 Sep, 2014 @ 12:51pm
@Ender_Dwarf: Yes, it will work with or without the DLC. The scripted werewolf fights added via the DLC are "Events" and work on a completely different system. The only thing that would now work with this mod is other mods that affect this particular spawn... in that case, just make sure this mod is at the bottom of the load order so it loads last and overwrites what ther other mods do. It will only overwrite that particular spawn type
Gentleman-Velociraptors 21 Sep, 2014 @ 12:47pm
So the mod and the DLC should work together, correct?
Serith  [author] 21 Sep, 2014 @ 12:46pm
@Ender_Dwarf Yeah, I made this pre-dawnguard. The difference is that that is an "event" which are scripted to occur. My mod instwead changes the encounter rate, allowing them to spawn anywhere that forest predators spawn (as opposed to pre-ordained event locations)
Gentleman-Velociraptors 21 Sep, 2014 @ 12:41pm
I just wanted to point out that this already happens with the Dawnguard DLC installed. It is just extreamly rare.

Though I do say it does help with the people who don't own Dawnguard.
Semon Demon 11 Jul, 2014 @ 5:06pm
cool :)
Captain Cursewords 11 Jun, 2014 @ 11:39pm
Love the mod. Not a fan of the loot, but I love the transformation. Saw a hunter go wolf, which scared the hell out of me, at first, because I had no clue what was going on. I love this mod. Random Werewolf transformations are amazing.
Serith  [author] 11 Jun, 2014 @ 10:34am
@molson: Same as vanilla so, wolf pelt and ragged pants.
Baker0214 10 Jun, 2014 @ 12:23pm
What is the loot on the bodies
Timesplitter 5 Jun, 2014 @ 11:46pm

nice! :D now i can howl those away, worked with other werewolfs
TemerLaGargola 23 Mar, 2014 @ 12:22am
This is awesome, and balanced perfectly, adding a new level of immersion. Great work.
Padre_James 19 Jan, 2014 @ 1:06pm
what is a good on steam that will allow a werewolf to infect me in the wild? Please help i"ve been looking foe one forever

SasoDuck 8 Dec, 2013 @ 5:15pm
Oh I just use BOSS to auto-order them. Never checked where it was placed in the list...
Serith  [author] 8 Dec, 2013 @ 4:35pm
Sarcasm + Internet = Derp situations. Any case, yeah shouldnt be my mod, if you make sure mine is at the end of the load order should work fine.
SasoDuck 8 Dec, 2013 @ 12:54pm
@Ilseroth: I'm not mad, I just think it's funny. Guess re-reading my comment it came off as annoyed, I just thought it was amusing. Sorry for the miscommunication.
Serith  [author] 8 Dec, 2013 @ 7:40am
@SasoDuck: No offense but I didnt add spawn points, I didn't add trolls, I modified the existing spawn list to include werewolves. That is it. Perhaps my mod interactingwith another mod that effects wildlife causes wierd things, I don't know. But all it does is put werewolves in the "forest predator" list... Personally I think you're trolling.
SasoDuck 8 Dec, 2013 @ 1:50am
So I installed this mod thinking I would encounter werewolves on occasion and it'd be cool. Know what I got instead? Trolls. Endless trolls. I've been traversing the woods around Riften doing the Companions quest and every other tree there's a pack (yes, PACK) of usually 2-3 trolls. It's only been since installing this mod, so I only assume it's the cause. So thanks for the trolls... where's the wolves?
Serith  [author] 29 Nov, 2013 @ 9:43am
If you look around there are a few mod that alow you to infect yourself at any given point, Moonlight Tales is what i am using but there are some more lightweight ones.
Zephyrmeister 29 Nov, 2013 @ 5:00am
I don't know if it is possible or not, but could you make a mod that makes the player infected with Lycanthropy at the start of the game? Y'know, before the story even starts? It would give you an interesting backstory and save you the trouble of trying to find a werewolf to infect you. Thanks!
Timesplitter 3 Nov, 2013 @ 6:21pm

Zappleberry 4 Oct, 2013 @ 2:08pm
thanks
Serith  [author] 4 Oct, 2013 @ 8:20am
@xboxgamrs: They are set to appear wherever a particular spawn is placed, most predominant near riften and falkreath, however it is used in a few other places in other holds (and a few caves)
Zappleberry 1 Oct, 2013 @ 4:50pm
can they appear in any hold?
skelly 25 Sep, 2013 @ 11:58am
This is a spoiler so don't read if you haven't completed the companions quest

It makes sense because when progressing through the quests you see a werewolf in a cage
Fish 29 Jul, 2013 @ 8:51am
Ok, yea, that makes more sense that they'dbe werewolves at day, too, because of the lore of Skyrim. Thanks
Serith  [author] 29 Jul, 2013 @ 6:19am
@Cpt. Fishindude: While that would have been preferable it would have also required scripting and I wanted this to be as lightweight as possible. Also, given that as a player you are allowed to turn all fuzzy during the day I figured them being around during the day is lore friendly.
