@excr - Thanks that look much better. Yes, I'd looked through a lot of fonts, but could only find an approximation.

One other thing, I've noticed the font you're using for the earlier liveries is an approximation. Perhaps it's a practical choice for ease of modding, but I did find an OTF font online that you may find useful, it also has the numbers for number plates: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1hcxvx2cpdm7yqy/Swindon.otf?dl=0 . Sorry I can't comment on your more recent mods, I don't own TpF2 yet.

@excr - It's a nice thought. But I already have a full time job for money. And people won't get anything that they aren't getting already. I won't say 'never', but probably not worth it for me.

JK, would you consider setting up a patreon or something similar? I'd be happy to chip in a small bit to support your TpF2 work.

@Sabertooth - It may well be the model that is not helping. I've had a look and it's not very efficiently made as it was one of my early mods. I hope to get time to improve it before TpF2.

Not sure if it's just my mediocre setup, but I seem to get quite a lot of frame drop when I use the GWR version (not tried the BR version).

@JK - Ok Thank you
JK  [author] 17 Oct, 2018 @ 9:56am
@Barshest113 - As I recall, in the full list it comes after engines, but before coaches and wagons. If you click any of the filters it will not appear. (Because it provides no power and but doesn't carry anything, the game doesn't classify it within any existing filters.) Also check your game date is after the start year of 1883.

I subscribed it but I cat't find it in the depot or the assets.
How can I sort this out?
50n10_M49R 27 Apr, 2018 @ 4:26pm
Can you put a face on that please?
JK  [author] 23 Apr, 2018 @ 9:20am
@Norfolk_Chris - Yeah, this is one of the ones I haven't got round to updating with an asset version yet.
Norfolk_Chris 23 Apr, 2018 @ 3:40am
Is it possible for to add this as a 'brush asset' like all your other goods vehicles? Most goods yards had a siding for brake vans.

you made this too! as you already know im making a british map

Thank you, I will look into it. =)
JK  [author] 20 Jan, 2018 @ 5:45am
@Blackdragonbird - If you locate the '911065272' mod and move it into your ..."\Transport Fever\mods\" folder. Then edit the .mdl file's " weight = 1.0, " to say " weight = 20.0, " that will be 20 tons. The mainentance setting of " runningCosts = -1, " currently means it is calculated by the game (and so $0). I don't know if other negative values would diminish the costs of the train, have no affect or break the game. It currently doesn't have customisable colours.
Blackdragonbird 20 Jan, 2018 @ 5:33am
Superb. How i change the weight of it to a more realistic one? 1T is too little, even if it is only aesthetic. Do you think is possible to make it diminish the maintenance costs of a train it is in? Like 2% less maintenance? To simulate help with braking and less damaging of train systems?

Also it is compatible with color changes? =)

I've now added a BR version of this.

@malard4468 - From what I've read I don't believe this type of brake van ever transported cargo (other brake vans might have, and did on passenger trains). I did consider it, but it would have created problems; if it were put on the back of an iron train, would it carry iron or would it be a train with 96 iron and 0 goods? I decided to make it no cost, no weight, so it doesn't have an affect on gameplay, so it's not competing with freight waggons and is only for visual appeal.
mallard4468 28 Apr, 2017 @ 3:14pm
Say, why didn't you used the Brake Van as a goods transporter as well? I mean, Brake Vans were usually used as luggage vans and such, and would've carried goods around as well. It would've been a good way of adding the Van to the end of a goods train, having it carry one goods unit, just to show that it was also used as a way of transporting goods, but also not to the extend of a normal truck

Benn waiting ages for a proper Brake Van!

Thumbs up

Man, You're gonna be one of the Greats of TF modding XD
Super Shepherd 22 Apr, 2017 @ 4:00pm
I figured. I was just wondering if you planned to do so since these are some really awsome mods.
JK  [author] 22 Apr, 2017 @ 3:12pm
@TheRedBar0n - I hope to eventually - time, skills, and interest permitting. My plan is to start on the simplier ones, and hopefully work my way up as I learn more, rather than diving in at the deep end (the big mainline engines will need complex animation).
Super Shepherd 22 Apr, 2017 @ 2:56pm
Will you be making Main Line GWR engines and coaches?
Railgunner2160 22 Apr, 2017 @ 2:41pm
YES!! Been wondering when someone would make a proper brake van, not only that you went with the Toad brake van. Personally one of my favorite british brake vans
