You can debug available technologies (for physics) via "techweights phy". Keep in mind that you need to have researched "tech_self_aware_logic" to be able to get the research in the first place.

Also the tech is only available as a "rare" tech in the late game (with the other repeatable techs)
I don't think a simple species mod should conflict here unless it does some weird stuff.

i have never been more confused in my life about mods, i dont get the tech in my new game and its after i removed a couple of mods i dont want anymore, worst thing its just species mods, how come removing species mods makes it that this one dosnt work for me anymore, i havent even touched the load order, i need a professional :sadelf:

While balancing is not my first paradigm when it comes to mods, alternative research options are indeed a big deal; that is why you can get more research options via civics or traditions early on.
Before I would make it cheap, I would just bump up the available research base.

tl;dr
don't think this is a good idea, but feel free to copy the mod and change the tech level/cost

Is there any chance there can be an alternative to this mod that's more accessible early game ? Or would that be too unfair / broken ?

Some of them definetely won't work with 1.9 as I had to make changes. This one I think I had to change the prerequisite because it was renamed.
RedStarSingularity 29 Mar, 2018 @ 11:41am
does all of your mods still work for 1.9 ?
Magnum  [author] 22 Feb, 2018 @ 10:54am

Works great! Thank you

That seems odd to me; I use about 70 other mods with no conflicts as far as I know. Should not even conflict with vanilla. Downloaded File corrupt somehow?
Mycroft 1 Aug, 2017 @ 6:10pm
i don't know what the specific cause is for this but whenever i use your mod it crashes whenever i attempt to start a new game, specifically after i choose an empire and begins to generate the galaxy.

i don't know if your mod was made for vanilla specifically or if its conflicting with any one particular mod however.
Magnum  [author] 11 May, 2017 @ 11:22am
just released the "update" for 1.6
Magnum  [author] 11 May, 2017 @ 11:07am
Prerequisites for the tech is "tech_self_aware_logic".
Askalan 9 May, 2017 @ 12:20pm
May i ask you for an Update to be compatible with 1.6 ADAMS?
Wappaw_CptBlack13 8 May, 2017 @ 11:48pm
Weighting must be off or something. Reached end game and the option to repeat the tech has never appeared.
Wappaw_CptBlack13 7 May, 2017 @ 10:00pm
Helpful. Thank you
