there is a vanilla game version and a WOTC version as well. So youll have to unsub to this version and sub to one of the other 2 versions.

@8feet... this is your art!? I'm flattered that CX's Vipers have fan art!! Well you'll be happy to know CX will be adding 6 other Viper types soon ;) 4 are children of the Viper King. 3 Princes and a Princess and thanother 2 Viper types are a "surprise".

Nothing I can do about the acid trail as the Bio Cipers are intended to only work with Bio Troops that are immune to its acid. It's a LW issue as the LW mod forces all enemies to be able to be spawned together. Even if the mod creator had not intended it that way. I will look into it more and see if there is a possible fix but the trail is a passive ability meaning it's always active.

the viper acid trail activates inactive pods and they do friendly fire dmg pretty often
nearly lost a supply raid because the command pod with multiple archer/longbow mecs got activated and they started to missle me every turn

All the units in this pack, but story-wise only, I can see why you make them appear anywhere as it would be frustrating otherwise

Just was saying that it would feel weird for citizens to see biochemical troopers in urban settings

oh sry did not know that they can fire rockets although they are disoriented. i thought that abilities like launching a grenade and fire rockets are not possible when they are disoriented.

@Phantom, it's a LW bug my friend. Burning can last multiple turns or 1 turn but some times the burning "effect" stays and looks like they are burning when hey are not. Also disoriented units can fire ranged weapons but with a aim penalty.

Thats one of the best enemy mods for sure. Great work. A little bug i had with LW2 1.4: I had a Bio rocket trooper and he was using a Rocket against my soldiers although he was disoriented from flashbang and i think he was also burning.

Oh, i encountered another issue - if Bio Mec is targeted with full override, nothing happens, no possible rewards shown, and the action is wasted.

You do know that ONLY the Tecnical can use normal rockets and flame throwers in LW right? The Exo and War Suits use everything else in LW. The Bio Rockets that you can build will only work on the Exo and War suits (as intended). So while you might have gotten to build them early, you still need a Exo or War suit to use them. That's just bad pacing on LWs part. In vanilla Xcom you'll get these rockets right around the same time you would start building your Exo/war suits. But yeah they strictly made the normal rocket and flame thrower a class weapon for the technical now. You can't use those on the Exo/War suits anymore. So the Bio Rocket actually gives a Rocket back to all the soldiers that can use the Exo and War suits.

Yes, that's how i get them. But i have no ability to use them. They wont fit in techno's gloves, they won't fit in SPARK's either. And i still have no heavy armor. But i already have the rockets, that feels a bit wierd.
I think they should be available as soon as regular rockets, not before, even if you did the autopsy and pg project.

@Avataristche... how exactly are you getting them in fhis mod? You should only get them once you do the Autopsy on a Bio Rocket Trooper and the Tech then becomes available in the proving ground.

Not sure if it's intented, but it seems you can get Bio rockets before you can get any way to use them, maybe add some tech prereqs to those?

Acid Grenades in LW gain +1 rupture not acid in general.

No, they aren't carrying medkits or other immunity gear/buffs. No matter where the body, I never get poisoned. I constantly kill them in melee, too.

Are your soldiers caring med kits? If so, they will be immune to her Poison death explosion. Her explosion is 4 square radius as well. Also, the explosion pop from the square her body lands on. So if a weapon has knock back effect and she thrown a few squares when killed, the explosion tales place after. This has been a know side effect of medkits since Xcom EU. For some stupid reason, the game designers decided if you're soldiers have medkits equipped, they will get an immunity to poison even without haveing to use the medkit lol. I may be changing her death explosion to Acid real soon anyway.

The Viper's deathrow explosion doesn't actually seem to do anything, my soldiers never get affected when they kill them up close.

Yeah talked with a few people and it's an issue with LW. Well not an issue really, as I'm sure they didn't expect people to add enemies that trail Acid behind them like this lol. But apparently, in LW no matter what you have set in a character templet as followers, their system still picks randomly the pods to spawn. So even tho my Bio Viper is set to only spawn with Bio Troops, the LW2 mod negates this. Sorry there is nothing I can do, except maybe take the Bio Viper out of LW altogether. But she is the base for this mod so I'd hate to do that.

I've not altered any files in such regards, they spawned like that on the map, it was the first pod I encountered. I've not personally screwed with any follower lists, I do however, next to LW2, added several other custom enemy mods (maybe that somehow interfers with the cohesion). What can and can't spawn as a leader or follower depends on the Advent Strength Level of the region you partake missions in, at a certain level mobs can only spawn as leaders, rises the Strength Level too high leaders start spawning as followers and even more powerful versions start spawning as leaders, like the Muton Elite, who will spawn with Centurio followers and so on and so forth.

@Schleicherfreund... there just inst anything I can do there. I don't know why she's spawning with anything but Bio Troops. As in her follower list, all that's set is Bio Troops. I've seen missions where her pod of Bio Troops and another random pod, spawn too close and the enemy isn't smart enough to not walk across her acid trail. But she should not be spawning with anything other than Bio Troops. If she is, it has to be a LW2 issue causeing this and or another mod you are using? Have you messed with the followers lists by chance? Or another question... was this pod already on the map like this? Or did they come in as reinforcements? Also I didn't think the Bio Viper could spawn with Muton Centurions as they are both Leader types?
