I myelf are the creator of the "V-Mods Species" mod (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=812896318) , which is the basic mod. This mod here is kind of a DLC/expansion to the "V-Mod Species" mod.
A overview what "V-Mod Species" modifies/adds to the vanilla game, you got here https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=812896318 (screenshots) or here https://vmods.blog/2017/01/20/stellaris-v-mods-species/ (full detailed description)
