I have aquired "Visas Marr´s Lightsaber" but it states it can only be used by Visas Marr. So I didn´t get a usable Lightsaber and she didn´t drop a part either.

You can always try moving visasmarr.dlg to the TSLRCM override and have it overwrite the file there.
If that still doesn't work, yeah you probably want to look at said other mods.

I still got the part, not the lightsaber. Using TSLRCM and other compatible mods (the ones listed as for TSLRCM) maybe there is a conflict amongst them somewhere. No big deal, I guess.

That mod being No Lightsaber Quest (also by me?). If it's another that just gives a saber, it'll obviously wont affect other spawns.

I downloaded the mod that allowed me to get a lightsaber from Chodo Habat on Telos. The description said that it would eliminate the "Crafting a Lightsaber" quest from the game. However, upon my fight with Visas aboard the Ebon Hawk, after defeating her, I took a part from her lightsaber and got the quest anyway. I am confused by this, so I downloaded this mod to correct that error. My question is this: shouldn't the mod have completed the quest for me? Having a lightsaber completes the quest, after all. My next question is: Is the lightsaber quest unavoidable? Because I hate having quests that are impossible to complete. They never leave my journal page and it drives me mad

@HowlinMad96, you can't, but if you go to 'this PC' get to OS (C:), from there, go to Program Files (x86), Steam, Steamapps, Common, Knights of the Old Republic II, go into the document, not the app, Ctrl+f [Game Options], make a new line, and type EnableCheats=1, it has to be exactly like that, Visas' lightsaber part is the lens , so go into your game, press ~, and type giveitem lspart03

@Howlin, no you will not get a quest item part the Obsidian item is non-upgradable and only usable by Visas.

Are you still able to build your own lightsaber with if the part drop is replaced?

That's why it runs the "I pledge my lightsaber to you" instead of "my lightsaber, you destroyed it" line...

What I meant is, it doesn't make sense to get an item that gets destroyed.

You can't use it yourself, the item in question is only usable by Visas Marr.

that's the point, anarcher. you can just give her the lightsaber back or use it yourself.
