Exactly, this is why I'm confused, because it literally has your name in it. How would another mod, not by you, want something with your name in it?
JK  [author] 28 May, 2021 @ 11:29am
@Adseria - I've subscribed to this mod, opened all .msh files in the downloaded mod and searched them all for "axle_spring.mtl", none contain this reference (and by extension "jk_gwr_bogie1_axle_spring.mtl". The issue lies outside this mod.
Adseria 27 May, 2021 @ 2:55pm
So you think some other mod is making your models (gwr_3300.mdl and gwr_3252.mdl (and presumably also gwr_3200.mdl and whatever the BR version is called)) look for a file that you never created which literally has your name in it (jk_gwr_bogie1_axle_spring.mtl)? How does that work?

Also, I've checked, and none of my mods (including this one) have a "jk_gwr_bogie1_axle_spring.mtl" in their files, so I have no idea where they're getting it from, but, as I say, it must be one of your mods because it has your name in it.
JK  [author] 27 May, 2021 @ 11:48am
@Adseria - I've just tested this version in a new game in Transport Fever and had no issues with any of the 4 engines. None of this mod's files (or any of my other mods) contain a reference to the material filename your error gave. The only explanation I can think of, is that another mod is conflicting with it or creating the issue.
Adseria 26 May, 2021 @ 6:33pm
3300 is the same. Exact same error message, except it's "vehicle/train/gwr_3300.mdl" instead of "vehicle/train/gwr_3252"
Adseria 25 May, 2021 @ 6:14pm
Just tried resubbing; no luck.

Also, forgot to mention: I haven't tried the others yet because I haven't unlocked them. When I do, I'll let you know if they work.

Also also, I realised you might need to know when the issue happened; it's if I try add it to a train, either buying one in the depot, or through the replacement interface. Just clicking on it is fine, but when I hit "buy" it instantly CTDs.
Adseria 25 May, 2021 @ 6:08pm
3252 causes the game to CTD with the following error:

"Lua error

File: vehicle/train/gwr_3252.mdl

cannot open res/models/material/vehicle/train/jk_gwr_bogie1_axle_spring.mtl: No such file or directory.

This error is usually caused by modding. The syntax of some game resources is not correct."

Thanks heaps for all your wonderful locos for the UK maps. :steamhappy:
JK  [author] 3 Mar, 2019 @ 6:53am
@Autocoach - Well spotted. Thanks. I've corrected that now.
Autocoach 3 Mar, 2019 @ 5:17am
A point that I think 3252 now says 3200 on the buffer beam.
Shop Dog 28 Jan, 2019 @ 11:01am
it wouldent give an error message it would just crash toe game and endtask as soon as you clicked a 440 in the depo this seems to have gotton better after the last update. so somethings changed on the game end that was interfering with it.
JK  [author] 24 Nov, 2018 @ 2:50am
@Shop Dog - What error message does it give?
Shop Dog 23 Nov, 2018 @ 7:47pm
the other mod packs work fine but this one will cause my game to crash if select any of these locomotives of open the engine tab in the track asset menu.
RolandBP 29 Jul, 2018 @ 3:40am
Your collection of GWR locomotives is astounding.
Northerner Transport Hub 3 Jul, 2018 @ 10:15am
ok cool when u gonna add port talbot railway 813
JK  [author] 2 Jul, 2018 @ 12:51pm
This has now been updated with placeable Asset versions.
Dell Conagher 7 Jul, 2017 @ 1:29pm
Or, if you want a taste of the other Big 4 engines, LNER's A8 Pacific side tank?
Dell Conagher 7 Jul, 2017 @ 1:27pm
GWR 950 0-6-0 saddle tank?
Northerner Transport Hub 7 Jul, 2017 @ 1:26pm
please can u make more british
th3maldonado 6 Jul, 2017 @ 12:50pm
Nice. Will be interested to see if you dabble in the Big Four engines like the 4F Fowlers and Large Prarie class engines.
JK  [author] 6 Jul, 2017 @ 12:38pm
Those should both be fixed now.
Still on with the previously alluded; 4-4-0 City (not started yet), Toplight Coaches (mostly done, with interior and passengers), Faster Track (done). Should hopefully publish them all within a week.
th3maldonado 6 Jul, 2017 @ 12:13pm
btw, what stuff are you planning for the future? It's kind of a shame that they didn't dive deep into one particular region's history, instead going for a generalised European set of locomotives.
th3maldonado 6 Jul, 2017 @ 12:07pm
SSD's are life tho now. This thing is 5 years old and it is still running a 2020 map at 15fps XD
th3maldonado 6 Jul, 2017 @ 12:06pm
:S Ye XD. Would be using windows but my HDD decided to delete the sys folder XD. and no problem. I did a computer science course and frankly I just want to forget everything cause of how much of a pain in the ass it was, and not because I couldn't program anything XD.
JK  [author] 6 Jul, 2017 @ 12:04pm
Yeah, I see the problem. I've put part of the path is in uppercase when it shouldn't be. I guess you must be using Linux. I'll sort it out shortly. Thanks for letting me know.
th3maldonado 6 Jul, 2017 @ 11:58am
Just looked in the folder and that file is there :S I have no idea what is going on there.
th3maldonado 6 Jul, 2017 @ 11:53am
Outside of this issue I give you a 10/10 for these mods. I've been doing a Scotland map with the 0-6-0 saddletanks and was looking for a replacement. Was hopefuly I could get one of those two to replace my "express" saddletank.
th3maldonado 6 Jul, 2017 @ 11:51am
Not sure if that is helpful or not, but its what pops for the 4-4-0 GWR Bulldog and Duke, and the first 0-6-0 Dane Goods. The 0-6-0 Rebuild and BR versions don't have this issue.
th3maldonado 6 Jul, 2017 @ 11:45am
Something to do with the JK_hook-rear.msh file. "Cannot open res/models/mesh/vehicle/train/GWR_3532/jk_hook-rear.msh; no such file or directory"
JK  [author] 6 Jul, 2017 @ 11:29am
Can you be more specific? Is there an error message or filename this relates to?
th3maldonado 6 Jul, 2017 @ 9:58am
I think it is the Duke class one that has the issue.
th3maldonado 6 Jul, 2017 @ 9:58am
There seems to be an issue with this mod. On the 1870/1880's GWR model there is a missing file/broken directory. It's the same on 0-6-0 Goods engine too. The rest of them work fine.
Northerner Transport Hub 27 Jun, 2017 @ 11:29pm
JK, when is your next project coming out because both british authors have not released things for a while
plus please can u make a 14XX
LondonMidlandzz
if u have time, watch my train simulator broadcast and anyone can watch
Dell Conagher 25 Jun, 2017 @ 8:05am
@ExplosivePeanutButtrtJelly - Don't worry, @JK has it on his worklist.
NotSwindonRail 25 Jun, 2017 @ 8:01am
You should make a City Class :steamhappy:
Norfolk_Chris 25 Jun, 2017 @ 6:11am
The dukedogs were first introduced in 1934 with plain cast iron chimneys, not copper capped. I also believe some of the last members of the class were turned out in full lined passenger green livery as a last fling before the end of steam. (As were many other ex-GWR locos in the late 1950's.)
JK  [author] 25 Jun, 2017 @ 5:49am
Well spotted. I don't mind you pointing those sort of things out, as long as you don't mind me ignoring them. ;-)
I'm suprised no one has pointed out the numerous realism flaws before and on the other models. I've generally picked what was easiest/quickest for me and/or how I preferred it to look, with half an eye historical accuracy (I normally look up how it really was then bend it to suit). I think I saw some president for leaving off the lining on the BR version - if it happened once somewhere; I can definitely do it. :-)
E.g. I've picked G.W.R. on the tender, cos I wanted that on one of them, although it was only used for the part of the later period it's available. The numbers do not match the name plates either, but I wanted to use the class number as the engine number to make it easier to identify what it was when in-game. Also the Bulldogs arrive much later than in real life, for gameplay reasons.
Norfolk_Chris 25 Jun, 2017 @ 3:59am
There a some details that I would like to see corrected concerning the Dukdog locos.
The BR loco should have the lined black livery (as your 0-6-0 goods loco) as it was classifed by BR as 'mixed traffic'. (I know some mixed traffic loco were tuned out in plain black in their last days shortly before being scrapped.)
Also the 3200 'Earl' class locos were renumbered from 9000 to 9028 in 1946. (3200 should be nunmbered 9000 in the BR version.)
Hope you don't think I'm being to pendantic!
FusedCircuit 23 Jun, 2017 @ 4:16am
Thanks JK could you pls make the GWR Mainline next, of course with more of ure amazing trains 'n assets
JK  [author] 21 Jun, 2017 @ 11:06am
@LSV Xenoglossicist - Sounds interesting. I've just published a basic guide to modding (in English) which might help you:

I love the mod, the only thing that bothers me is that the models lack polish xD continue the good work @JK
ajax_post 17 Jun, 2017 @ 4:38am
Thank you! Trying to play in 'England' has got a whole lot better!
LSV Xenoglossicist 16 Jun, 2017 @ 9:58pm
i have a Blender file of GWR Mogul ive been working on, have no idea how to get into game, any tips? Or i could send to you, the motion is connected so if you rotate the middle drive wheel the motion is linked. It is similer to castles / halls, saints.
JK  [author] 16 Jun, 2017 @ 10:26am
Yes, a GWR 3700 City class will be coming at some point. But it also needs some new carriages to go with it. Haven't started on either yet.
mallard4468 16 Jun, 2017 @ 5:33am
Okay, I'm expecting the GWR "City" Class next. Simply because the "Bulldog" Class could pass as a "City" if one wouldn't count the statistics. Plus, we really need Truro to show Scott who REALLY was the first to hit the magic 100 ;)
President Tim Walz 14 Jun, 2017 @ 8:19am
I would like to see a class 57.
Dell Conagher 14 Jun, 2017 @ 7:49am
Tank Engine, you mean, right?
Cheese 14 Jun, 2017 @ 7:49am
Where is Thomas The Dank Engine?
Northerner Transport Hub 13 Jun, 2017 @ 10:01pm
YES NEW GWR TRAIN
Samgineer 13 Jun, 2017 @ 2:24pm
As always, Great job! I love you GWR mods! :)
