Can someone help me? I'm curious on how I'm suppose to download mods that aren't from Steam. I'm new to being a PC gamer and I am using a Windows 8 Laptop. I want to download mods from Nexus and other sites but have no idea how to go about it and install them in to the actual game. Help!

Im loading this into my skyrim but it fails and dies. If i understood correctly i need the Hair mod. I own all the DLCs. And it still fails. Any sugestions?
