You should probably cross-link this mod with the FU version so people know they both exist.

Would love a version of this that affects the slime race added by frackin universe they also have hair added by floran race and feet that don"t quite fit into clothing. Would be awesome to have these fixes work for their race too.

Updated, I think now the dirty edits should be fixed. The problem was that i was repalcing the ".species files" of the main mod instead of use ".patch files". Moreover, this will improve the future compatibility with the base mod. ^^

Ok, considering that background, I will do that, I will do another separated version only adding the slime hairs without replacing the florans. :steammocking:

Well, you could make a seperate mod then, one as a replacement and one as an addition. I would gladly use and promote this mod on slime race mod page if it was an addition. Slime race is supose to mimic other life forms, that's why floran hair is there as well. Planned npcs are two different types as well so far it's only human-turned slimes that kinda have better control at what they mimic, they have regular feet as well. With the natural slimes, they can't handle it and these hair are kinda perfect for those as well ^^

@Hieru I prefer it to remain a replacement for the floran hairs, since, in my opinion, the slime specie is more unique so. I do not like too much to see slimes with floran hairs, for me, it reduces the immersion a little. Anyway, I really appreciate the offer. :)

I can write you patch files so it goes along with floran reskin hairs to be an 'addon' for more extra hairs if you want. So they wont be just replacements ^^

Update, if you don't fix the dirty edits you would need to do "requires" instead of "includes" to prevent the crashing.

There is a load order issue causing this to work properly only at random. You need to add to your metadata file "includes":["SlimeRaceMod"] or probably "requires":["SlimeRaceMod"].

Also, very dirty edits. You should look at the json patching method it's very handy!
