On the other hand, I've been looking for an excuse to get my hands dirty on writing a mod, so maybe I'll just try to figure this out on my own in the Dev Kit. :)
Stop Server, Install Mod, Start Server, Log in, Wait 5 min, Trained a level, opened up engram list, logged out. stopped the server. no log is generated... set the mod in first position, shows as running when i hit escape. i'm at a loss. do i need to wait longer?
I have two main goals in using the data from your mod...
1. Adding Nameless to Crystal Isles and Ragnarok, and
2. Rebuild a couple of spawners on Rag, Crystal Isles, and Skies of Nazca that are over producing a few dinos.
FI.. there is, what looks like, one spawner on Skies in the NE corner that is pushing out 100% of the maps total eels. And its doing it in STUPID numbers! Or there is a spawner on Vikin Bay that, under Ark Eternal, spawning thousands of Tuso, IN THE BAY! The water is too shallow there! They should never spawn there in any situation. So they form a ball. Literally 2500 tuso that can be killed with one giga chomp! Sure, I can turn down tuso so much that the ball is somewhast managable at 50 or so. (prevents client lag with so many animals) but the rest of the map is sparse!
Im a bit suprised this hasnt drawn more attention! Great data to be had from this. Its just too bad there is so much work to be done to identify actual locations.
Im starting work on Crystal Isles now, and then will be doing Skies of Nazca
When I shut down the server, nothing is ever written to log file. I'm assuming this is because I didn't fully load in?
( dont have the time for share LOL ) so many people give up.
This mods is help this people : ) ( and they are not few )
my way of finding the spawns was always going to see the folders and have lots of work this will help me thank you very much :)
maybe is more easy to find the mod IF you add in end off name ( find the custom spawners ) or [ find the custom spawn entries ] only suggestion
tks for the mod : ) good work
