Like any other portrait you need to know which name the file has and then name the new portrait the same after you put it into the folder of the country you want to change.
The DLC portraits have a different file format though (and thus different names) so you need to change all event and national focus codes to your portrait name and file format.
This worked for Together for Victory but somehow not for Death or Dishour. That's why I couldn't change Habsburg (NOT Hapsburg) portrait yet.
I will work at this mod again after Waking the Tiger because it will probabably mess everything up and thus changing the mod now is a waste of time
China has leaders for all ideologies. Which mods do you use besides mine?
no
@CyXaPuK
I know about this problem but I have no idea how to fix it
@Orwell2017
I will look what i can do
idk why some doen't work. It seems to be random sometimes but since non-aligned isn't often used, it shouldn't be much of a problem.
The thing is that I often can't find out problems beause some files (especially newer ones) are so goddamn messy which makes it difficult to pinpoint code mistakes.
Paradox should really tiden up their coding mess lol
Not much because I have barely any time. Just put together some leftover portraits from July and updated the mod to 1.4.2
all changes I can remember:
-USA non-aligned
-Russia non-aligned (the portrait doesn't work though and I haven't figured out why yet)
-Japan and its puppets non-aligned
-Siam fascist (It didn't work before but now I solved the problem)
-Croatia all leaders,a few generals and one admiral
-Serbia generals (portraits don't show though, same problem as with russia)
-Estonia and latvia missing leaders + 2 Estonian generals
-Some South and Central American portraits
-Belgium non-aligned
-Luxemburg all missing ideologies
-fixed communist Belarus problem
-a new polish field marshal which I recently found out about xd
When patch 1.5 arrives, I will probably do a relaunch of the mod because this mod has already more than it was supposed to. This relaunch is gonna have alot more generals and maybe admirals for more (or all) nations
That's a great idea. I will look into it when I have time
Probably not
Italian and japanese leader will change according to the new portraits made by paradox. I won't change the japanese communist leader though cuz I didn't find a good quality portrait of the new one.
Also thinking about changing the german communist leader from Wilhelm Pieck to Ernst Thälmann
The only goal of this mod is to change the portraits. Anything beyond that would just reduce compatibility with other mods which I want to avoid.
Do you know of any US politician who could serve as a CSA leader?
Huey P. Long died in 1935 so he can't possibly be in HoI4
I don't know much about the Kaiserreich lore and none of the party leaders in Russia had something to do with Kyril.
Paradox rly failed at the neutral US.
Name: Confederate States
Flag: has a crown
Ideology: Centrism
Paradox wtf???
I am planning to finish them soon. Some already have leaders for the major ideologies but information for the rly small ones is rare and the fact that Paradox thought using random generated leaders would solve the problem doesn't help either
