yeah you can place functional parking places (with more beautification) that you dont see but will be used by traffic :-)

I noticed a car pulling up under the awning on a gas station lot that I placed in my town, the garages work too.

yeah the end result is pritty darn handy in game if i may say so myself :-)

PS did you get the mod i showed under the car parking garge? nice litlle tool for adding props on buildings!

but on topic, there are multiple programs that can be used, i believe Blender is most used these days and there are videos on youtube explaining how and what to do if you want to create assets, i just stick with trying fixing the mess the Workshop has become these days :-) currently thinking about making a same kinda set for all the cars/vans/truck there are, but that will be a huhge! project

Hehe im not the creator of these Assets ;-)

My goal is to creat sets that not only are a set on Workshop but also In-Game by matching their stats to their size, recreate Thumbnails so they are easy to use and sort them togheter so they are easy to find while playing the game. I also remove/add props, add/update light and above all give people the freedom to place an asset the way they like, hence the PRS/POG/PAB etc.

Got a question, what program do you use to create your work? I use to us Gmax with SC 4 but I down loaded 3ds max, are there any good tutorials? I would like to create some of my old stuff for CS. Thanks.

Indeed these where the things i missed the most, parking garages and gas stations!

Strange that the lights arent working, i did update all assets to be AD ready.
Ill have a look at it later today and might update it, if you find any more "broken" assets please let me know! Its good to get some feedback and im happy to fix issues!

Yes, I noticed you did those too - which are great, more parking garages we need in our cities. But I've got an issue with one of your parking garage, "Small Parking Garage 5" it doesn't have any lighting within, or around it - so it goes completely dark AD. Is that suppose to be like that? It really doesn't matter, but I thought I would point that out to you, it would look so grand if it lite up at night. Cheers!

I understand what you're saying, but, I just want to thank you for the gas stations, you've done a great job, I've downloaded them all, and I think I gave you a thumbs up on the entire set! I love making little towns over the map, I use the 81 tile mod, so lol I'll be using a lot of your statiions.

Jeeezs feels like i just wrote a book about it?! I hope you understand the reasons why i didnt make any Mega Packs... BUT if there comes more demand for a "all in 1 / Mega Packs" version of these sets i will make it (takes like 10 min or so per set :-) )

3. I think 50 gas stations is a bit of a overkill for 1 city type (god i miss the map SC4 used with all the tilles you could buld on!) There are like, EU, America en China/Azia type gas stations in the pack and having to download all while you prob not gonna use more than 5 to 10 different assets from 1 specific type per city, most likely makes people want to unsubscribe the others from content manager. Problem with this is that if you delete 1 asset from the pack, you will the whole pack and there is nothing to change that, so eventually people will go looking for the single asset version again and go for the 5 or 10 they want to use. So i give them flexibility but they do need to grind through 200 assets on workshop for it ;-)

Back on topic: to be houghnest i though about making them, it can be done and i know how, so no probs there but, there are 3 reasons i choosed not to:
1. Workshop offers the possibility to download all assets in the set (although this will take some time, depending on the downloaders internet probbably?) So there is an option to get all gas stations combined
2. The first few days these sets where on the Workshop I monitored the downloading of these assets and i didnt see anybody downloading the whole set (imo because ppl already have some of these assets from the originaly creators and do not want to dump it for my version, but thats just a guess)

At first I didnt get what you where meaning but i googled your name (Was good to be back on SC4devotion, spend many hours there in the past :-) ) and found you created the mega packs for SC4, is that what you mean?

I thought it was highly "illigal" to make these back in the days?! i remembered there was somebody who published a cd full of content or something like that and the originall devs where NOT ammused hehe

Amazing work, say can you do what I've done with gas stations like I did in SC4? If you Google "Bobbo662", you'll see my work I did for Simtropolis, and BSC team (gas stations). Great job!
