to add 4 stomachs, but not be unbalanced, make it so their stomachs are weaker (A health thing?) Basicly, have four stomachs, but make each one function at 50% efficiency. Lore-wise, accurate, and still balanced!

To what extend are you okay to do the following:
Patches, copying code, full fork that copies (and/or significantly alters) sprites?
Credit will be given, no profits or ownership will be claimed.

Modders that have taken up Xen's mods use the MIT license, but I don't see that license on the original Xen mods, so I'm asking just in case.

Check my workshop for the new 1.1 versions - I may combine the 1.0 and 1.1 later - but for now due to some oddball issues I'm keeping them separated.

EDIT: Was the mod "HD Pawn Textures (HAF Edition) . The normal "HD Pawn Textures" works fine. Just thought I'd update here in case anyone else has this.

I can't figure out what's happened, but all faces for Twi'leks have vanished. I do not have any face mods installed, but I do have Facial Stuff and Character Editor. Has anyone had this or know how to fix it?? Thanks!

You can add Twi'leks in EDB just fine. However, you have to add them in from other factions. The Twi'leks that you probably want to add are under Twi'lek Colonists or something like that.

Having four stomachs doesn't seem to be a particularly overpowering advantage, considering the 'fall over 50% instant death' mechanic.

There is a workaround for EDB prepare carefully. Create a scenario with a twi'lek, start the scenario and save the twi'lek character. exit back out, start a normal scenario, load the character, and edit it as usual.

Is it possible to start with Twi'leks in my colony? There doesn't seem to be a way to create them using Prepare Carefully.

(have not yet played the mod, if this has them i will delete this) Any possibility of prosthetic Lekku? there was this one game for the ds that featured a Twi'lek main character with a prosthetic lekku, My understanding is they are so important not only to the culture but communication that if something happens to them it was considered common practice to get a prosthetic

Any ideas why names are not generating now? All Twi'leks have the name "Twilek". Not sure what has changed.

Wait but is it not a structural weakness? Brain is most crutial part of the body. Thats why we humans have a skull, when they have some kind of weakness in that part of the skull, you could kill them by simply droping something not even wery heavy on their heads. Plus they would only loose balance from those head tentacles, because theyre center of gravity upwards. Even more so when you look at that tiny female jedi. Those tentacles would have large number of her weight and would destibilize her. It would be incredible weakness I think. Skull is round to mitigate kinetic stress better.

Lekku (twilek head-tentacles) house a small part of their brain (in the top thickest part of the lekku) and function somewhat as a sensory organ (like equilibrium - how a cat's whiskers and tail are used for balance)

I'd imagine this mod adds the Twi'lek tribal gear aswell, could you add that the gear is only for Twil's because it's a cheaper version of tribal wear for everyone

well,4 stomachs do not do much,you cannot use them on humans or other races and even having 400% metabolism does nothing. the only boni is that one can just get 3 destroyed without dying,but that's it. a stomach with only one hit point left because of a scar will still work the same way,exept that it will be destroyed with almost 100 % certainty if somebody will hit it or during surgery

Perhaps add the 4 stomachs but turn down the overall hunger rate so that it equals roughly double that of a human colonist. Provides the glutton aspect while keeping gameplay pace and lore accuracy.

@Apis confirm that the pawn in question is a actually a Twilek and not a human that happened to spawn with Lekku? Can do so in the save file.

Actually, that explains it perfectly. If it is random and based on straight RGB values then you can't moderate saturation without a script to color-correct for an agreeable saturation. Understandable that it is out of scope. Simpler to lower the upper bound while raising the lower bound. This has the outcome of producing a higher number of washed-out grey skin tones as much as eliminating the over-saturated look. Not neccessarily a better result.

Oh okay, most of the Twi'leks I've seen are vibrant, but then that might simply be the rng having it's way with me. Thanks for the explanation.

They vary - the upper bounds may be a bit too saturated for a "Natural look" - but it's the nature of the semi-random colorization scheme I used. If I'm remembering correctly anyway.

Hi, I like this mod (along with the starwars factions etc.) I'd like to suggest lowering the color saturation of thier range of skin tones. While Twi'leks have colourful skin, they don't tend to have highly saturated (vivid) skin colours. Lowered saturation is achieved by moderating the difference between RGB values (you probably already know this but for the sake of clarity...).

Might be a stylistic preference, and I don't know the first thing about modding this game so my suggestion comes with a complete ignorance of whether what I am asking is difficult or not. Feel free to discard it.

Thanks Xen, I have that mod. I use it to disable the vanilla factions and to force at least one faction of every StarWars kind. And while the Twilek faction does appear, it only does with one settlement on the whole planet.

I suggest Faction Control.
It lets you pick a few features about factions - like if they claim a land area and put all their bases together there like a country - or if theyre spread out all over. Also lets you control the minimum number of any faction

I use this mod alongside StarWars factions and the Togruta race mod, and it seems every planet generates only one Twilek Settlement. Is there a way to give the Twilek faction more settlements?

Yeah - I'm not sure why the pawns sometimes violate any of their tags - I've had it happen randomly with everything from gear - to factions and backstories and hair.

Some time ago I had a new pawn join the colony but he is human and have lekku instead of hair:steamhappy:, but all other humans are normal, in my colony and tribals.

The cultural garb works in the opposite direction than it should when it comes to temperature. Instead of giving a "10°C" modifier for minimal comfortable temperature (lowering it from 20°C to 10°C) it gives your pawn a "-10°C" modifier, thus increasing minimal comfortable temperature from 20°C to 30°C. Would really appreciate if this got fixed.

from some reason, when i start a game when not playing as the Twi'leks, they only spawn one village on the planet (as a faction) any reason y?

I think there's something wrong with the Twilek cultural garb. I can imagine not wanting to wear it in a blizzard, but my pawns are getting hypothermia when its room temperature. Had a pawn wearing it and their temperature range went to 72F to 72F. Didn't use to do that in B18.

And it can be savegame compatible if you use Orion's Faction Discovery when you first add the race to your save (you can turn Faction Discovery off again after saving again)
