Hi JK, would I be able to get permission to do a livery variation on your LMS 1937 coach as to add the stripes from the streamliners?

Hi , Are you able to update the non corridor front brake BR Version so it does not appear with a white roof on the LHS of the screen when it is fairly small , as per the attached .

The new coaches and locos look great . Can I ask whether it is intentional to have the weight of the non-corridor coaches and the brake coach the same as before you have reduced the weight of the brake coach .

Smashing job, happy to see the addition of generic coaches too, very helpful with filling in for stuff thats not been created yet!

I've now updated this with 4 generic coaches in LMS and SR livery (reskinned Collett coaches). Which should be more suitable for those currently having to use the GWR coaches as stand-ins.

oh jk. i saw these coaches in colonel failures latest video and came to see what was going on. the additional coaches alone are much appreciated. but seeing your comment of the castle being added to the star is fabulous news. thank you very much

I've now updated this with the Collett coaches (GWR & BR versions, including assets). There's also the new Castle class added into to the existing 4000 Star mod. I won't be doing any more new mods or major updates for a while (will probably start again in the autumn/winter).

@JK: it works now. Conflicted with Seamons Mod (Balancing to real values)

I've now published the City class engine (and track and viaduct) which achieve the top speed of these coaches.

@[BA] [srf] [d&sr] golden freddy - The picture of the viaduct is public (and a non friend has commented on it). Did you look in the right section; it is in the Artwork section, not the Screenshot section (which seemed to be a massive pain to simply upload an image file to). The viaduct mod itself is not available to anyone yet.

But the animated doors are really missing.

quite a nice coach design but i must be terribly honest in regards to my own opinion the LNER Gresley coaches were quite nice to look at and they served a bit of purpouse due to how they were shaped however if i may ask are the pictures of the viaduct only for freinds of yours or public ? i will respect your opinion/reasons but thought it should be noted that your privacy settings don't allow people that arnt freinds of yours on steam to view (no offence intended).

I've got part way through the City engine and had hoped to have it published by now. But I've run out of time and won't have any time to work on it for a while, so I will hopefully publish it in about 2-3 weeks (early August). I have also been working on a viaduct mod (see pictures in the Artwork section). Cheers.

i like it, 72xx would be good for long freight but i`ve always been a prarie tank type guy

@dominik.bertrams - Very odd. As no-one else is reporting the same problem, I can only guess there is a conflict with another mod or corruption somewhere. Maybe try unsubscribing, restarting the computer and re-subscribing. Or test the mod in a new game with no other mods enabled.

Capacity is showing as 1... and it loads only 1 passenger...

So these must have been very modern coaches for the time. If not futuristic, because compartment cars were more or less the standard up until World War 2.

@dominik.bertrams - I'm not sure, sounds odd. Are you saying the capacity for each coach is showing as 1 or only 1 3D person character is visible inside the coach?

In my savegame it can carry only 1 person... What am I doing wrong? This happens to all GWR cars btw
