I don't mean to be that guy, but... is there a similar mod that is not as edgy?

i have SKSE but when i eat the skull i have no effect ive tried it on 4 differnt characters all at different levels even a fresh start but nothing works any advice?

open command console if that doesn't bother you any and type help horse or help meat should bring up code for horsemeat then simply type player.additem "code" then X being the number of it you need and or want.

I have a problem i could only find one hourse meat in whole skyrim. Merchants dont sell it and horses that i kill dont have any meat/items at all. Does anybody else have this kinda problem?

I've had issues aswell, but It has worked with ledgendary edition, without skse.

IM having a problem with this im eating them and nothings happening. i dont have the skse downloaded but i did it on a different character awhile back and it worked fine. i just decided to make a new character

this mod is messed. it only givs 1 perk point no matter how many skulls you make and eat.

Ah, nevermind, I overlooked SKSE because I wasn't sure how it'd affect the achievements, I'll be rapid-firing those achievements before I can use this correctly.

You have to run skse_loader.exe to use SKSE.
If you start playing Skyrim the normal way, SKSE isn't actually running.

This mod causes me to CTD a second or two after loading a save.

So I played the same way I always have, perks worked before, don't work now.
Odd how that works. Maybe they never worked and I just didn't notice.

I have SKSE, but I still can't pick up any bloody skulls... much less eat them (Lord, that sounded disturbing lol)

Thank you Monty for this mod. These skulls come in nice and handy, especially if you are ditz like me and decide to uncap the perks to 999 and not have enough perk points for it. XD

I don't know whether to accept the reference or be creeped out by the fact it's counted with BLOODY SKULLS.
If I made up a short story in my head about this, the only thing I could come up with is a person whose ejaculation blew another person's skin right off their face..
But enough about creeping people out today, it's a nice mod.

I will say, this mod DOES work provided that SKSE is installed and running correctly. That said, I do sort of wish the item you were crafting involved more exotic ingredients and the skull's name fit in the game a little better. But if you're looking for an easy way to, say, reclaim perk points lost when you uninstalled a mod you had previously spent perk points in, this is the way to go.

yes same with me and I used SKSE and made sure it was in the correct folder and everything else that was described to do but it just isn't taking I hope you can figure out why the perks won't show up.

I did everything you said to do and for me at least it wasn't hard at all finding the skulls or horse meat but I ended up having the same problem as everyone anyways. I double checked where I put everything and tried again and ate them but I still didn't receive any perks..at all

You spend these perks the same way you would spend any perk point.

I followed the limited instructions and downloaded the (SKSE) mode from the webpage provided. you need to fill me in on were to drop the downloaded file to be sure that steam and skyrim know the mod is on my computer. I am new to pc moding and cheats.( I figured out to go to the program file of the skyrim game but do I put it into data files?) help a new gammer out. keep the instructions as basic as you can, the perk you have created sounds great!!

this seemns like a bit of a cheat mod if you ask me.....if all it takes is a skull and horse meat then yeah...defnitely a bit cheap for an item that gives you a perk point...

You need SKSE version that will work with the new 1.8 Skyrim Update.

@TheAleG I had the same problem with the update. I couldn't even make Dawnguard mods withe the update on Creation Kit. For now on I'm keeping away from the Skyrim Update Participation. Screwed up my game, So I've just started a new one. :-(
