AR PMAGs and front sights
Here are the model files of all the possible combinations, as requested:

Please do not upload these as standalone mods, (I could do that if I wanted to, but it would just needlessly spam workshop) feel free to include it in your mod/skin though.

I'm sorry, i dont really know what i'm doing when it comes to manually using files, what am i supposed to do If i want to use my current M16/M4 skins with removeable front sights, but without a PMAG, i.e. with the normal Stanag? I know you didnt want to spam the workshop, but i always felt that an addon that can remove front sight when attaching optics would be great all around. Any help is really appreciated :D great work too. am loving it.

Say I want to merge this with E5150's M16A4. Do I assume that I add the .mdl files to the VPK? (Extract to new folders, add files, run vpk.exe?)

Blackout1337 got it right, you need to put the files in

\custom\M16(or some other folder name, it doesn't really matter)\models\weapons\

and then either just leave it as it is, or pack it to a .vpk.

Alternatively, if you're subsribed to the PMAG workshop mod, search here:

steamapps\workshop\content\222880

for a .vpk with PMAG in a name, extract the contents of the .vpk to the custom folder and then just replace the model files with the ones you want.

Anyways, I've uploaded the mods as vpk files, just move that to \custom\ folder and unsubscribe from PMAG mod.

Right... okay, i'm really sorry to be such a noob, would somebody be able to guide me through exactly what to do if i want E5150's Colt Defense M4A1 and M16A4 (Without Rail Covers) to have removable sights, but to keep their stanag magazines? I'm really really sorry to be such a pain. I just have no idea what i'm doing in this case.

Just subscribe to E5150's skin and then move m16_nofs.vpk and m4_nofs.vpk to

\insurgency\insurgency2\custom\

I am getting a weird world model placement for the files that allow you to use the mags and keep the front sights. It seems the left hand of the soldier isn't aligned properly with the gun when using any of those mods. Is there an updated version or a fix for this?
