Before you start, make sure you have installed sourcesdk, and 2007 and 2009 and have launched SDK, so that all files are updated.

1. First go to (steam/steamapps/common/sourcesdk/bin/orangebox/bin)

Grab these files (Itemtest application) NOT MS-DOS! (parsifal.dll)

Paste them into (steam/steamapps/common/sourcesdk/bin)

Run the application from there. (NOT FROM STEAM TOOLS).

And you should be good!

Hope this works

dude, don't use source SDK, the workshop doesn't require source SDK anymore... use the workshop submit a new item tool and click on import, put everything in there and once you're finish it will give you a .zip file to upload to the workshop
And how can I convert the object into a mdl file btw the Blender tool does not work either!
Please HELP ME!

once you import everything, verify it and click finish you should get a .mdl file in the zip under game folder
Where am I supposed to import the files in the workshop gets you only the publication of the object but no converted mdl file for testing.
So my question is how I can create them without source sdk itemtest
Please HELP ME

The problem is when I open up itemtest from the new location, it doesn't recognize my steamID. I can't convert any items in itemtest if I can't proceed after the first screen.
