@Östwind -BARAN Look up the Eastern front mod on the Steam store, that will add the Russians and the Ostheer to your Company of Heroes.

The larger mods that aren't maps need to be greenlit onto the Steam store as they're too large to host on Workshop. Europe at war is another CoH mod you can find on the Steam store.

There's a WW1 mod as well search the great war 1918 into Steam and you'll find it.

Not on Steam, but there's also the Blitzkrieg mod that's very popular

It makes combat more realistic so infantry are devastated by MG's etc. It also adds in a load of new units and HD textures. It's literally added dozens of hours to my playtime.

It's kinda tricky for me i've been trying to download Blitzkrieg for a month or two from moddb. I currently live in China and it's a nightmare to download. It keeps failing.

I dont want to download mods from moddb because same reasons.

It adds new units, maps, doctrines, some cool new mechanics, Changes campaign to be a bit more Historically accurate (Germans speak actual German) balances a lot of stuff and lots more things

Just try another mirror on ModDB, the default one is often cancerous. Other ones are at full speed (low load). If it still doesn't work, try another mirror again.
