Map Editor question
Anyone figured out how to start the map editor?

When i click the file directly in my directory it say "Unable initialize SteamApi".

I got it started for about 3 seconds before it closed itself down.

I had the same initial notification until I ran it as Administrator and it worked(For a few seconds).

I would really like to know the answer on how to get it working properly as well.

OH yeah it run in administrator mode. Doesnt seem to crash tho.

Hmmm, just tried it again and it worked fine this time. Strange, don't know what happened between now and then.

Using 10 64 bit, Started it, says WB in offline mode, debug console comes up where I read "xyz shutdown, ..... terminated"
Cannot click anywhere within WB, only able to close it off.

This is a Admin issue. the Main windows admin account is disabled and a users account gets permission on a phys comp. security step against someone doing things on your comp from remote login without a gui.

>>Run steam as administrator
>>Run the editor as admin

>>locate steam and the game. Right click. Compatibility mode. Run as admin.

I dont have the editor and but that should fix your issue. That error tho usually has something to do with permissions in most games.
