I was wondering, since the devs are basicly done with this, couldnt they relese the source code or something so that modders could create some mods

The idea of getting the source code for the game is very good. Especially considering the fact that the authors of the game themselves have stopped developing the game, and the game has a lot of fans.

Did you ask this question in a letter to the authors of the game?
What did they answer you about source code of the game?
