Mods?
Can someone make a bag slot mod Iknow there are some but a lot of them don't work and I know nothing about making a mod so I was wondering if anyone would make a bag slot mod so I have more slots when looting?

Hilarous joke, as not only Testing the Mod, but trying to make unique mods. There are a Couple of Items (Steam > Library > War of Mine > Right-Click > Tools (Storyteller) > Create New Mod > Edit > Expand "Items" > Bag, Blade, RifleAmmo, Shotgun Ammo, etc) have Unique Names (Borrowed), Unique Icons (Borrowed), Unique Description (Borrowed) or do anything.

I've tested and tried the Vanilla Bag it doesn't work even you add a Crafting Recipe via
1. Storyteller > Expand Items > Expand "Bag" > Expand then Right-Click on "Craft Recipes" > Add Sub Item > Click on the Sub Item you created
2. Crafter Device = BasicWorkshop, CraftingAtOnceLimit = 0, CraftTimeInHours = 0, CraftingResultsItemCount = 1 or 10, CraftingWaitInHours = 0 or 0.1
3. Pack Project via Blue > Arrow at Top Left
4. Load Game > Start New > Go to Workshop > Craft Bag, should be free & fast (Has Helmet Icon & Vest Description) > End Day
5. Take on Prepare (See no Change) > Pick Map > While in Map Open Bag & See Slots Increased > Go pick up Items until your full > Take a Screenshot > Run to Exit
6. Compare what you come back with = Less than what you thought you picked up

- adding custom sounds and music

What I got from trying
Modding Tools Features

also War of Mine is 3.0.3, Storyteller is 1.0.0.0, Mod Tools.exe doesn't have a version so I don't know what is Update 2.0 unless that is War of Mine in Dec 2015.

I've tried creating
- New Upgrades on Default items (Doesn't Show Up)
- New Weapons (Work in Progress, attempt 3, but Pistol2 or Pistol_Magnum = Ingredients as per Developer's Mod Instructions.pdf in War of Mine Folder...)
- Tried to make one item Upgrade to another (Like Chair to Armchair, no Upgrade Icon added)
- Tried making Bandages and other items usable during scavenge like Healing Items (Work in Progress, attempt 2)
- Tried adding Craft Recipe to Heater...its not like the Recipe can tell the Heater to have an extra icon for craft

Only success = Don't add new Items, but new Recipes like Crafting a 10 Guns in BasicWorkshop for Wood in 1 second.

Things the Developer's Mod Instructions.pdf Leave Out, that I'm either working on or gotten to yet
- Adding NightJobs
- Adding More Items so start off with a lot items
- Changing where something is crafted

ALSO SHOUTOUT TO David.Dankstedt [swe] FOR THE Centa-Shot Pistol and the Suggestions for a Triple-Shot Pistol that inspired me to mod WoM after someone beat me to the punch on a Driveable Motorcycle for Fallout 4

Thank you for your reply It looks very confusing on how you make one from what I see it is not possible to make a bag slot mod that actually works the ones I find people have said don't work

@Lukong1515 Nice story. Good thing I started modding with 3.0.3, it's a lot easier now. You can actually create "new" items, but they don't do more than what's already in the game. Like a tactival vest completely bullet-proof, or an assault rifle shooting 100 bullets per second. Nothing really good... except for debugging :steammocking:

@Yuna Caulston There is a "bag" item in the game, but it's not working. Like Lukong1515 said, it doesn't really add more inventory, and you can't make one working either. The only way right now is to change a character's number of slots directly, and that's only possible with a cheat table.

Actually, you can make it so an item adds more slots. Like if you make the crow bar add 10 slots, when ever you bring a crow bar with you, the bag will have 10 extra slots.

@NiamhNyx Yeah it does look like it works, but if you look closely at what you take and what you got when getting back to the shelter, all the stuff in the extra slots is gone :-/
