Non-steam workshops hacks
I came across a Sonic romhack earlier that I want to try out, but I can't seem to locate it in the Steam workshop. Does anyone know if there's a way to get mods outside of the workshop to run with this emulator?

You could upload it yourself and set it to private. Granted, that's technically not ok, but I'm sure SEGA or a moderator would understand if you explain your situation to them.

Alternatively, you could just get a seperate emulator. The SEGA Genesis boots directly from the cartridge and doesn't have any onboard software, so Genesis emulators are completely legal. The one I use for testing work-in-progress mods is called Gens32.
