Like the whole screen turns white?

Yeah, every transition from Winter to Spring. Or when snow fades in or out.

Are you using a re-texture pack?

No. The white has been there since the beginning. On the highest game speed it happens fast and pretty often. I could deal with it much easier on 1080p monitors. 2-4k it is almost literally like turning on a phone's flashlight if the room I'm in is dark.

Theres a dude on here who supposedly made a Banished launcher that enables higher resolutions let me see if I can find it.

I can't find it maybe I was thinking of another game. It's possible Banished can't properly handle your refresh rate can you monitor do 60hz? If so I would turn it down and relaunch Banished to see if it continues to happen.

Thanks for your help :) Yeah, the refresh doesn't have anything to do with it sadly. It's just, when the snow starts and stops, on a large screen, it's overwhelmingly bright. Stepping down the actual backlight brightness, or screen brightness/contrast makes the rest of the game too dull and dark. I believe the color in-game is possibly the whitest-white possible. It is an annoyance to be sure, but it has never interfered with my ability to love the game. Just gotta accept it for what it is, and I'm fine with that. I appreciate you taking the time to help. Is there a mod that removes rain and snow completely? Especially the snow is so overdone, I can't see a thingf when it snows.

Playing the mediterainian map on MM8, I think it is a CC mod also. Plays a map with zero snow. You could still play with harsh weather to tone down the balmy weather a bit, but I like it, cuzz all of the new stone roads or alternate roads turn white under the snow, you can't see the patterns, and I like playing with the roads for patterns or whatever. They are my division dividers, so I know at a glance I am in a resource area, housing area, or farming, or whatever areas. And when the roads disappear under the snow, it is an inconvenience lol.
