Melinda is not affected :(

I could do that myself by when I edit mods, they stop to be in the mod is for some
reasons. I should check so mod tutorials..

I was able to modify a mod (the select your escort one) to
make the escorts harder to kill (5000 hp, 100 of regeneration).

this is just an edited copy of someone else mod...

No idea if I am going to be able to do it "legit".
This is specially painful to test, the game doesn't always send me escorts...

I was more interested in a way to keep Melinda from dying, since getting her out of that dungeon is nigh impossible.

She is possible at normal... sometime XD
A good way to do it is to use speed things (movement infusion, speed skills)
to get the more distance possible between her and you...
so you can deal with enemies that do zone damage before she reach you.
Once she is close, I got back in the main room and do it again.

Maybe one day I will find how to change npc.
I just didn't have any reference.

Here is a tip for her, Just dig a hole into the wall quite deep and just use a movement or teleport out of there, As long as she cant see you she wont move, So make a cubby hole in a wall near by where no enemies would find her and just teleport/run out faster then she can, Or you could just dig a tunnel to the exit.

In addition, you can use task manager, close the game, and then turn it on again, returning you to your last save.
