A Mod Idea?
I have a mod idea, Based on one of my Factions i have on Cortex Roleplay (An Arcade game on Starcraft 2)



Imagine something that has units that can handle things that a different unit cant access

Using this technology, A new Tech Faction appeared, Each unit capable of doing something that the other cant........


They manhandled the Coalition, Imperatus, and the Techion easily, they are only known as "Them" "They" or "The Unknown"




They have several units, Each capable of doing what another can





"Pounder" Sonic Assault Soldier - 175 HP - Pounders are more then one and a half times bigger then the regular Humanoid, But can jump long distances, They can fly using a Sonic Propulsion Generator

"Pounder"'s Weapon - Sonic Saturator - This weapon fires a constant beam of death, If a target is hit for too long, About 2.5 Seconds later, They explode like a Grenade would

"Emitter" Walker - 750 HP - These massive beasts cant fit into buildings, But on open land, They succeed in annihilating enemy infantry with their brawling blasts, and they are extremely resistant to Bullet damage on the Legs and the Cockpit, Only being damaged with Explosive weapons and Plasma Based weaponry, If you manage to get near the Under-Belly, You can easily damage it, And destroy it....

"Warrior" Speed Assault Infantry - 75 HP - These creatures are extremely fast, Their quick to charge Blades which are forcefully mounted onto their wrists are easily capable of cutting up infantry and other things with ease, They often engage in packs, Hence why Spawning them from a Darkness Spawner spawns 4 to 6 of them.....

"Curser" Mage - 25 HP - These creatures can summon firestorms of energy which distintigrate armor easily, And they Massacure enemies in the Masses, However, With a good enough Sniper Shot, These creatures are no match, And upon Death, They explode into a mass of energy which sucks everything in, Which tears them up

"Drracorr" Mage - 75 HP - These creatures fly through the skies like an aerial jet, Which makes them nearly untouchable unless an Explosive weapon targets them, These creatures can fire a beam of obliteration which annihilates enemies, and penetrates armor easily, Upon death, They consume everything extremely close, Creating a crater of nothing

"Gepal" General Infantry - 100 HP - These creatures are capable of using all of the different weapons offered by "Them" "They" or "The Unknown"

"Emnity" Beam Cannon - These cannons fire a beam which deals about 10 damage a second, And they are made for Major Gepals before they went extinct, Now these massive beam cannons can be held by General Infantry

"Revolver" Pistol - These pistols can fire a small beam which deals 25 damage to an Enemy, Making them think twice before facing a Gepal Infantry with this weapon

"Destroyer" Bio-Weapon - This creature which mounts itself to a Gepal Infantry, Fires a stream of Void Energy which deals 10 damage upon hit with a Target, Once target is hit, Their fate is sealed as the Void Energy holds them in place and turns them into a extremely solid being which eventually hatches into a Warrior

"Terazal" Assault Rifle - This terrifying weapon is renowned for it's abiity to eviscerate infantry and other troops with ease, Fires one shot every 0.2 of a Second, and deals 25 Damage to an Enemy

"Terror" Bio-Weapon - This Bio-Weapon is thrown at an Enemy, And then it explodes into a Acid which solidifies a Victim, And Incubates a Warrior within this frozen enemy, The enemy Explodes into Gibs as the Warrior bursts from within them

"Blackhole" Chaingun - This terrifying weapon is called "4 Terazal Assault Rifles Combined" And for good reason, This weapon deals 25 damage every 0.05 seconds, The spread of the weapon is insane, And it kicks back insane, Hence why these are only mounted onto Emitter Walkers

"Shredder" Shotgun - These weapons fire a burst of energy that deals 15 damage per volley, And a Volley contains 20 shots at max

"Eater" Grenade - These grenades explode into Energy which shreds enemies and leaves the enviroment untouched, Classy

"Power" Grenade - These grenades explode into a massive energy ball which sucks everything in like a Gravity Well, And then repels everything in all directions, Tearing infantry and other items apart during the Repelling process, At which point these items and infantry bits act like Fragmentation, Which deals heavy damage to other infantry and such around them, Tearing them apart like paper

"Pinger" Spear Launcher - These weapons launch a volley of 4 Void Spears which deal 25 damage to a enemy target, Annihilating these targets, Either tearing them in half, causing collateral damage, Or sticking them to a wall

"Blackout" Darkness Spawner - These spawners are basically the Dropships of "Them" "They" or "The Unknown" They appear to be a Tendril which emerges from the ground, But what it is actually is a Lightning bolt striking from the possibly non-existant clouds which causes this "Tendril" To appear, It spawns about 2 groups of Units of a Specific type before disappearing again from this Bolt

And that is all, Hence is why they shouldnt be Messed with, But would balance out the fact that some factions are just a little overpowered, "The Unknown" have a reason for being powerful, Because they dont belong here, They came from a time of where this place was just a black goo to them..... Its how they made their weapons.... And how they have their energies, as well as their physical shapes....
