"No radiation"addon needed

Does someone know some addon that eliminates radiation? Or someone can simply explain why I got extreme radiation from nothing AT NIGHT?

I've had one case - on the moon - where solar events at night passed through the ground and hit me from below. Only having radiation shielding flooring under me would keep me safe.

MaHuJa, do you just SEE the message or do you HEAR the Geiger counter.
Because I see the messages at night too, but I am in the shadow of the whole planet so I don't get radiated. And the Geiger counter is totally silent.
At day you have to take cover. But not at night.

Edit:
For yor base the roof and the east and west walls are important. The floor never as far I know.
