As an old fan of Transport Tycoon this seems to be my kind of game. Looks very cool. What I don't get is why no designer has yet thought of introducing horse-drawn omnibuses for urban transport in a 19th century setting. Such vehicles saw widespread use until the early 20th century and ought to be available early on, alongside stage coaches (which really are for long distance travel) and horse trams:
