Mount mod someone? Please?

I know NOTHING about modding... and I'm sure there's a troll somewhere who will be happy to tell me why I'm such an idiot for asking... BUT mounts in this game would make it just plain epic...

There's an animation in the game's data that makes an NPC on a horse in idle mode but that just about it. Making a mod that allows your character to ride and fight monsters are serious and tremendous work, not fun anymore for a modder like me because 3D stuff and animations are for those who has specific set of skills to create and that is not merely modifying things anymore. This is a good request but I think it is intended for an amateur game developer.
