Add Thompson for the US
Grease Gun is almost unusable with those iron sights.
I think add the Thompson is a no brainer option to add assuming using an updated model from RS1.

VCs has PPSH , GIs could take a good Thompson.

Its not working that way. AMG have a dedicated artist on their team and a fact that there is RS1 model exists is not an arguement. It will probably be added along with ARVN.

Even M1 Carbines and M1 Garand were there...
first, probably captured.

the last two, LRRPs which weren't armed nearly the same as the average infantryman.

I have seen pictures of Thompson in Vietnam.

Though cant say is it somekind of special unit etc.

Edit. Was used by US advisors, recon , specialforces and S. Vietnam troops.
So it was there but it was rare.

We dont have Specialforces as unit or others, it would be unrealistic.

Funny...VC did make copies of Thompson. :D

the difference is the grease gun still saw widespread useage until the 1990s whereas the thompsan was basically ditched by anyone who used it after ww2

Thompson was officially obsolite 1971 by US military...

Though we can give it to Vietnamise troops as VC and china made copies of it and South V used it whole war.
