So while seeing there was brand new armor skins that can be made by modders and submitted to possibly end up added I thought of a clever idea that I don't think anyone thought of yet.

Why not make what could be called "90's Throw Back" or "Black Mesa" Armor skins.
The purpose of these armor skins will be entirely a massive throw back to the old Half Life games. I have 3 examples to work with for this idea set.

Example 1: Half Life Blue Shift, Barney Calhoun's armor as well as the rest of the Security force of Black Mesa have a very distincive armor chest plate. It's pattern and specific coloration might not be too hard to replicate but it would look really good as a vest with some armor to it.

Example 2: Half Life Opposing Force, Adrian Shepard and the rest of the Marines that intervene with the Black Mesa reach facility following the events of the catastrophe would be a perfect idea for an awesome armor. The H.E.C.U Vest as well as the armor and leg pieces being that famous looking urban camo would look AMAZING as a full body armor set. This might be a perfect idea plus it would look BADASS as a combined tactical vest full body armor set.

Example 3: Half Life 1, Gordon Freeman and specific other scientists have access to the most advanced suit known of the time period the H.E.V Mark IV suit. This would be a more advanced project but it might be a clever idea for a fully futuristic form of body armor unlike anything anyone has ever seen. Perhaps peices of it were modified for other uses.

Anyways these are just a few ideas I thought up while thinking of skin ideas. It might give armor and skin designers a very clever idea to work with. Let me know what you think of these ideas.
