(It's a bit simplified tho, might need a bit of tweaking depending on the part)

DONT make it 6 pixels tall, thats too much and causes green to end up on your gradients. Use 4 pixels.
Edit: Right? Im confused now because you asked about the angle/rotation shine.
I want a permanent, static, color gradiant across the *surface* of the gun, not just a lighting effect gradiant when it is rotated.

Making that seal from a pattern would be too inefficient imo so dont need to worry about that.
